I got some unique shopping experience here a few weeks ago and would like to share it. They sometimes would put 50% off label on items that wouldnât sell at all, but those would be limited to bakery and bubble tea. At first itâs on bubble teas, we took two then the next week we came over seeing the same deal, then we bought again. The store probably then donât discount that anymore. Then there was this one week, they put some sandwiches aside at the front session beyond the cashiers, put a 50% sign next to it. We took two, at check out, a lady cashier questioned us where we got it. This is hilarious as the table where those 50% off buy one get one free sandwiches sitting at is just literally 3 feet from her. Well sometimes cashiers might not know deals/on sale items the store just put on. We pointed where we took the sandwiches from, showed her that sign, the lady cashier didnât process it for us. Well itâs $3 for two. She then called up her supervisor or store manager to the front as if this is something big that needs a higher level of approval. The so called supervisor, 40+ female, with glasses, had her mean looking on her face, looked at me as if she didnât like me taking advantage of the discount. But seeing the sign she put up herself then she asked me in mandarin I donât know what she said. How can you assume everyone speak your language? We asked her, in English of course, whether we can also get another one single leftover sandwich half price. She counter-offered me to also buy some cakes I donât need. I said we donât need those. She looked at me judging me in her silence, I feel uncomfortable and strange that a simple question would bring her so much ânegotiationâ, at the end she agreed and approved for the 3 sandwiches we bought, thatâs $4.50 for three. See look I donât expect you to have Omotenashi, but come on, I really had never experienced something like that in any supermarkets in the United States of America. If you have come to the store, avoid that female supervisor. Sheâs not the cashier, she always walks around and setting things, and with an ID patch in front of her but you cannot see her name. Not sure the purpose of wearing that and waking around, probably feels superior for her. This is funny experience and I must share...

Walking into this 45,000-square-foot Asian grocery debuting in New York, you immediately feel the energy of a chain thatâs one of the nationâs largest. The produce section? Spotless. Every head of lettuce and bundle of bok choy looked like it just arrived from the farm, and the prices made me do a double takeâexceptional value for premium quality vegetables .
Their aisles are stocked with over 10,000 unique itemsâfrom exotic snacks to specialty saucesâso you can fill your cart with everything from Mandarin dumplings to Korean barbecue marinades. Communication can be a bit of a puzzle when staff donât all speak English, but their eagerness to help shines through even with minimal words.
Beyond groceries, youâll find mini restaurants, a full bakery, and even a Boba spotâCoco Fresh Tea & Juice. Skip Coco: they overcharge, pack zero friendliness, and donât respond to concerns. It felt like daylight robbery in tapioca form.
Despite the one bad tea run, 99 Ranch Market delivers a game-changing selection of Asian goods right here in Westbury. Support local flavor adventures, stock your pantry, and let this place reshape your grocery expectations.

Calling on "ALL" Asians!!!! This store is FOR YOUđđ actually really for everyone..... LOLđ€Ł
Instead of 99 Ranch Market should be called MILLENNIAL MARKET for being so ORGANIZED, the wave of the future. Every aisle shelf was stacked nicely and neatly. Nothing looked like an ALL AMERICAN SUPERMARKET displaced and unorganized with bruised fruit, brown or fatty meats under dark lighting or HARD STIFF SEAFOOD.
99 RANCH MARKET "PRODUCE, MEATS AND SEAFOOD PRESENTATION LOOKED SPOT ON FRESH!đGreat clear lighting over the food. Bright deep reds in the meat, spotless fish and lobster tanks with fish over ice, live blue crab for starters. Produce, fruits looked bruised free, no browning in vegetables.
Pricing is a bit on the high side but look at the quality you get. I think it is a no brainer ; if you're looking for FRESH this should be your ONLY STOP. FOOD COURT in the store is very inviting, as well plenty of seating. The bakery is well presented with a variety of desserts and cakes.
Plenty of parking in a large lot, and check it out, a "DIAMOND IN THE CUFF" Nassau County Police department right next door. "My kind of neighborsđȘđ." I gave this establishment 5 stars because in my opinion they deserve it. Large applause to Management...... Great Job!!.
PS....at check out we were given a FREE BOX OF PREMIUM EGG ROLL COOKIE a 99 Ranch Market brand. đ€ Hmmm you think this store recognizes me?
