I recently had the pleasure of dining at spring shabu-shabu restaurant on Long Island, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations in every way. First off, the convenience of their large parking lot was a major plus. Living in an area where parking can often be a hassle, finding ample space just steps away from the entrance made the whole experience feel effortless from the get-go.
As soon as I walked in, the cleanliness of the restaurant stood out. Every table was spotless, and the layout was both modern and inviting. It’s clear they take pride in maintaining a pristine environment, which really added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the meal.
The service here was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I was seated, the staff was attentive, polite, and well-informed about the menu. They took the time to explain the different broth options and cooking techniques, ensuring that even if it was your first time trying shabu-shabu, you would feel right at home. They were always nearby to refill sauces, check on our experience, and offer suggestions without being intrusive.
The food itself was a delightful experience. The ingredients were fresh, with a wide variety of vegetables, thinly sliced meats, and seafood. Cooking everything at the table in the hot pot was both fun and interactive. You can customize your meal exactly how you like it, whether you prefer light and delicate flavors or something richer with the broth and dipping sauces.
Overall, if you're looking for an excellent shabu-shabu dining experience on Long Island, this restaurant is a top choice. The big parking lot, exceptional cleanliness, and amazing service truly set it apart. I’ll definitely...
Read moreIt was our first time to this location as we frequent the Flushing location and once we arrived, there was a wait (Mother’s Day weekend) so it was expected. We eventually waited about 30 minutes for a party of 3 to get our table which wasn’t bad for a Saturday night and once we sat down, Sabrina took our order and we went up to the buffet to gather our selection of foods. About 20 minutes into our meal, our pots weren’t staying on so we brought it up to our waitress. As she went to notify the manager, the fire alarm started blaring! We were just starting our meal too and as a moments pass, the manager comes over to our table who was very apologetic and seemed very stressed and composed under those conditions (don’t blame him) to let us know that they were experiencing some issues with their electric panel. He expressed that the fire dept was on scene and we had to leave the premises for safety reasons although we were able to stay to finish up whatever we had cooked plus we didn’t have to pay for the inconvenience! Since the tables weren’t working anyways, we decided to leave. We still tipped our waitress anyways and will definitely give them another shot once they’re back up and running. It’s just unfortunate for them as they’re such a new restaurant to have issues like these. I still leave 5 star for the efforts that they care for their patrons and the safety aspect regardless of their losses they probably experienced tonight on Mother’s Day Eve! We will be back to visit in the...
Read moreMy mom and I learned about Hot pot via a book we are both reading and wanted to experience it in real life. So glad we did on Friday night at this Westbury location. Great experience over all, I'm 90% Plant Base and the options for veggies had me feeling like a kid in a candy store. I was even able to try a special type of mushroom that's hard to get.
Our Kale was AWESOME! He showed us how everything works and even made a special sauce combo for my mom that was popping! The price point especially for LI was affordable for anyone, even the add-ons were reasonable.
The place was super cleaning, especially the bathrooms!! Simple dessert bar with vanilla and green tea ice cream. Plus non-dairy pineapple ice cream.
My only suggestion for that area is they need to have the cones and cups side by side, not one behind the other. The set-up now makes it hard for people to get the cups that are behind the cones, which people will knock down trying to reach behind them.
Over all, my family loved the experience and will be back for my upcoming birthday.
Thanks, Kale and the crew for a great first dinning experience.
