Four Seasons Dry Cleaners — Local services in Town of Hempstead

If I could give 0 stars I would. This dry cleaners is incredibly horrible in customer service. The owner who is an Asian gentleman is absolutely nasty and doesn’t respect his clients’ time. I dropped off a bunch of white clothing Monday in the week, and asked if the items would be ready by Friday, both the gentleman and the woman replied yes. Friday I came as scheduled and he ignorantly says clothes aren’t ready come back. I looked at him in disbelief because he nonchalantly responded like he’s doing me a favor. Mind you, when I dropped the clothes off and they asked for a deposit which is unheard of, I did what was asked and left the deposit. But now asking for the deposit all makes senses, so in cases like this when they screw up, which seems to be often, they got paid something. I responded and told him that it wasn’t okay because I had a scheduled day that wouldn’t permit me to come back, so he told me sit in the car and wait an hour, which I repeatedly told him I don’t have. You can imagine how I blew up at him after that. Not for the mistake, but for his condescending tone and the giggling that took place on his end, like this was a regular occurrence at his establishment. The gentleman didn’t express any remorse, no apology was given, nothing. Terrible customer service and mediocre dry cleaning services. Not recommended. Instead of charging me the correct amount of $112.00, they charged me $1007.50 (an $895.00 overcharge). The man who input the incorrect amount into the machine lacked the competence to understand what he did wrong and originally suggested that I contact the credit card company instead of them voiding the charge. The man did not know how to utilize the machine to void the charge and was compelled to call his supervisor, who was not on site at the time. I waited almost 30 minutes for the supervisor to arrive and void the charge. The supervisor took no responsibility for his employee’s incompetence and lack of technical ability and training to use the credit card machine.
