Sunrise Express Car Wash - (Exterior Only) — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I brought my two cars to the new updated car wash. I paid for the platinum service that includes under carriage wash and automated tire shine. The next day, my ABS brake lights went on in both cars. I brought both cars to the mechanic and I had damaged speed sensors in both cars that had to be replaced. While this could be a coincidence, I highly doubt it based on the fact that these damages occurred directly after trying a new automated car wash that cleaned the specific area of the damages. I’ve gone to the car wash for years, always “ok”. Today VERY disappointed! Paid for Platinum wash, by the end of the cycle I see they now have plastic flexible drapes, so now you drive through after your car supposedly gets washed, only to get dirty from these plastic drapes! It was always open! Now I have dirty spots all over my car. Ridiculous! 😡

Update: the owner replied saying those flaps open once the GO sign flashes…unfortunately, when I got to the end, the X stopped flashing, however I waited for the “GO” to flash and it never did. Not sure if the other reviews are true but my husband has been arguing his way at this car wash for a long time. We went through the car wash and realized that it wasn’t clean, so we went through a second time since we pay for “unlimited” car washes. Well, I guess it’s one wash per day. We switch cars often since we lease them and between me and my husband we had 3 cars that we switched. I guess it’s a huge problem when switching the stickers. It’s 2025, get with the technology. There’s no reason why it can’t be simple. And the workers are not nice, but again, my husband is the bad one for not keeping quiet. Owner already messaged. We will find somewhere...
