Best Western Mill River Manor — Hotel in Town of Hempstead

I try to stay in this hotel because I feel uncomfortable and unable to drive, I'm asian, I had this black guy to service me, they didn't have parking service when I come in, made me hard to park when I get in, (I even call 911 cuz I threw up before I came to hotel, but police only offer me to have medical assist, can't drive me and my car to hotel), i almost crash my car to get infront of hotel, too dizzy. I ask them if they have clothing wash service, they say yes, i asked where, but he fking just stare at me and didn't tell me where to do this kind of service so I didn't wash my cloth in the end, in the room I try multiple time to get in the room with card key, but it hard, spend 10 minutes to get in, because I was very dizzy during that time, and inside the room, hard to find light during night time, they have lights on lamp. No slipper and no toothpaste, I was unable to brush my teeth left me bad breath all night and day. Expensive too, 2-300 dollars just to spend for a night. They told me to check out at 11 am, if I didn't ask they wouldn't tell me during when I check in, how do i know that, i was about to leave and turn back and ask, does this dude has problem with me? and yes i didn't know they offer breakfast, when I went to checkout room at 10am, breakfast already close, no body tell me they have breakfast, and still didn't know when they have breakfast. I have to wait at their chair for nearby restaurant vietnamese kitchen to open to get breakfast and lunch, brunch? (Great food and sevice) They ask me why din't I have breakfast, I told them my situation, but they didn't offer me leftover food or even try to solve this problem that i had, I need to drive 6 hours later, without food, I wouldn't able to make it, so i wait while i took medcine that I got from pharmacy, fantastic pharmacy lady at firey st, and I still feel uncomfortable and dizzy after I slept, the room is pretty noisy too, i can hear everything in the hall way, they can probably hear everthing what's going on in the room. I was waking up at 3am, 6am, 8am and never had sleep since 8. I didn't know if I have my food they will tow my car away or not since I already checked out. Ps:they did not tow my car away.

PS:omg, I just check my bank account, that guy say the room price is 222dollars, and guess how kucb were charged at my account? 322 dollars, they mischarge me, ripping me off. That black guy seriously have problem with me. I'm gonna talk with my bank see if I can do something about this transaction.

Ps: update to the extra 100 dollar charge, they say they hold 100 for security deposit, they say it gonna take 3 days to...

Location denied our rewards program because we are CLC. ( VERY FEW HOTELS DENY OUR REWARD PROGRAM, NOT JUST BW, ALL HOTEL REWARD ARE USUALLY ACCEPTED EVEN AS CLC CLIENTS) NEIGHBORHOOD wax seedy at best. My partner was too afraid to leave his vehicle in parking lot so we drove 2 vehicles to work everyday. ( due to local resisident suggestions and the fact there odd people hanging out in parking lot, and every odder people seeming to be living in their car ib parking lot. Next, i had my do not disturb magnet on my door, when arrived back grom work the magnet on my door had 'disappeared" and the lady was in my room. I recieved a long song and dance explaining so many reasons why that even though that the sign was on the door the maid has a quota to keep from mamageememt and if it is not met, the housekeeper will ramdomly voilate our privacy until the room quota was met for the day( EXPAINED BY MANAGEMENT AT DESK) also even if privacy was requested any guest that is staying 4 days or more must take room cleaingng 1 day( AS PER MANAGEMENT) even if sign for privacy is posted. lastly, 1045 my last night of the week in the room, i get new neighbors, atleast 3 screaming chikdren and at least 2 rolling carts of luggage . This is really 2 issues in 1, due to the design of the hotel all room enteances are located on an outside balcany. So every step every voice ever scream is liteeally on the other side of ones winsow s and doors. The luggage carts sounds like a rollercoater passing by and the screams from the kids and the yelling adult made it sound truly like a theme park ride at nearly 11pm when i wake a 4am for work.( I KNOW THAT I AM NO MORE SPECIAL THAN ANYONE AND THAT THWY WERE GOING TO BE SOMEONES NEIGHBORS BUT ARE YOU SAYING THERE WERE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE NOT NEAR PEOPLE ALREADY THERE,? THERE IS THAT POSSIBILITY! BUT MORE LIKELY THE STAFF WAS LAZY AND JUST PICKED WHATEVER ROOM POPPED UP. Thank you for reading. Cost vs experience / NO RECEIPT.

On check in the lady at the desk was pleasant, and accommodating when requesting a room. She was welcoming, and I thought it would be a good stay.

The room had recent renovation, and was clean, but econolodge level everything. one packet of regular coffee, and on decaf, and no cup. the beds were cheap, and not comfortable. (if you bump the bed, the mattress will slide off. The pillows felt like old pillows bunched into a little box.

0500 I had no coffee, since there was no cup in the room. I went to the front desk, and was told no coffee until 0600, and that I should find the 7-11. I waited until near 0600, and apparently was 4 minutes too soon, and was told no again, from the couch in the lounge. At 0605, to be sure I didn't get told no again, I found the coffee was Nescafe instant coffee. Basically mud, then water.

on check out, I requested a receipt, and was given a paper that had the correct top details, but only stated balance 0.00. I can't turn that in for expenses, and can't see the charges. I called on 18MAY2022 at 2000, when I got back home to ask for a receipt since none was emailed, or available. after a 25.6 minute call, and a hold time split in 2 of over 18 minutes, I got a screenshot of their computer.

It is illegal in NY to refuse a receipt, and I also have to personally eat this hotel room used for business travel. I am passing the info on to my company, and advise others that this is NOT where you want to stay if you are turning in expenses, or expect anything decent. You are charged a $100 incidental fee. Go right down the street where you can get much better accommodation for the same money, and get a receipt to turn in to your company.
