I have tried reaching out the Assistant Manager's number Jacqueline Barr that was provided in her reply email to me because I requested a call back after answering their store survey online. However I was place on hold for more than 15 minutes. The issue is in regards to the mistakes that their sales associates made that now I have to suffer. I needed a tool to drill a screw on a two 2x4 stud project so I headed in your store. I am a female Without any knowledge on any tools I relied in the recommendation of thier sales associates. However the recommended drill he told me to buy was not powerful enough to drill a screw so I have no choice but to return it. Cashier gave me a strore credit since I'm going to buy a much powerful drill( I have the original receipt when I returned the 1st merchandise). So another store sales associate helped me with the purchase of the more powerful drill but instead of a power drill he gave me a power wrench. I didn't know the difference between the two since I don't have knowledge with this type of tools. I only noticed that it was a different tool when I reached my house but too late to return because store is alresdy closed. When I returned it the merchandise next day to a different store ( near my workplace) according to the customer service my return was declined and I have to call a number on the declined receipt. The person who got my call said she cannot do anything because its the way the system of HomeDepot is. She told me to wait for an email after 24 hours then write a dispute letter and wait for 2 to 4 weeks to resolve... All of this painstaking ordeal I have to suffer because of the mistake of this store's sales associates and me believing in their "expertise" . Mind you this purchase is expensive too. This is totally unacceptable. I am totally devastated.
UPDATE: So I'm changing my rating to this store from 1 star to 5 star. If I could give 10 stars I would. The store's assistant Manager JACQUELINE BARR replied quickly in the email and set up a date to when I can go back to the store to resolve the issue. And I tell you she resolved it so quickly. Very professional lady and absolutely awesome. The transaction was so swift that I did not have to wait long. Thank you Miss Barr. I hope all people in the Management position is like you. Read moreThis is my absolute favorite location ever! Let me tell you my list of reasons why I will NEVER ship anything to this store for home improvements. First off, if you have a questions, don't bother calling them, they will NEVER pick up their phone. Ever. You can try early in the morning, in between and the evening- still no answer. I ordered a shower door and had it shipped to this location. It was delivered on October 25. It is now October 31st. This is the funny part. Get ready to laugh. No one in that store wants to unload the materials from that shipment. So my shower door is sitting there until some lovely person decides to scan it. I go to that store in person to see the situation. NOT A SINGLE DAMN PERSON IS HELPFUL. The staff is on their phone- talking or texting. They act like its an inconvenience to them when I ask for help. Okay cool. This is not about having enough workers. Its about being responsible and accountable for your actions and behavior. You guys give a new definition to being lazy. I have called the main home depot number and the 'manager' at the store would say that will be handling the situation. It's been 5 days, yet nothing.
