Wonderland Nail Spa — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I just went to get a full acrylic set done. I was charged $5 extra for my nails to be long in length, which wasn't listed on their price list but was written on their price list as soon as I mentioned it...np it wasn't about the $5 it was the principle. I easily spend $65-$80 there np giving a $10-20 tip everytime but this time was so different treatment wise.

Once my set was done and ready for polish I discovered one of my nails were crooked (Index Finger) which I addressed to Nancy who was doing my nails. She proceeded to debate about it and even went to the extent in asking another client next to me what was her opinion about it. I pay for my own nails not any other client so I was appalled at the fact that she would insist my finger was the issue and ask someone else's opinion instead of giving good customer service and caring about only MY OPINION being that I was the one paying.

She asked "what do you want me to do to make this right I'll do it" I said ok please replace the nail then and she took a deep breath and looked at me and I said you know what nevermind...this is my 4th time there and my last. The answer should have been sure I'll replace it and do it cause she knew I was not satisfied. I told her I'm not trying to be mean and she just carried on and had an attitude I truly felt like I was begging for a service rather than paying.

If you looking for a nail spa that’s about perfection and hygiene this is the spot! I came here twice before I decided to leave this review. First time here was because my nails was fragile, easily crack and rip. After doing some research I decided to do dip extensions to let my nail regrow and recover. After comparing different nails spots around the area seeing Wonderful nails salon just open with many good reviews I drove 15mins just to do my nails even though there’s many within 5mins around my house. My personal favorite technician is Nancy (I’m sure they all wonderful but she’s my favorite lol). First time here she examined my nail and listen to my requests. I need my nails to regrow, durable for everyday work(including heavy lifting from time to time) and most importantly LOOK GOOD! I did the dip extension she did such a FABULOUS job even when my new nails grow out I wash my hair and my hairs doesn’t get caught by my nail! I was SO HAPPY! Update 9/11/2023: Been coming here to get my nails done for about a year now. The SNS products and workmanship has gone down. The last few times I would find cracks on the powder gel. Brought it to the owner's attention and they are aware that the quality of the product is not as good. Moving forward, they apply 3 coats instead of 2. Since they've started applying 3 coats, it hasn't been cracking. However, the powder gel is lifting from my nails shortly a little over a week. Owner is aware of this and still charge full price for the repair. It wasn't until I addressed my concerns after, that they offered a $10 off coupon. It is pretty much an insult. It's not about the money but the principles. Been a loyal customer; referred friends and family here. It's unfortunate but we will be taking our business elsewhere.
