Horrible experience. To start off, this store is highly disorganized,messy and the equipment is poorly kept and maintained. I just left this place and felt compelled to write out a review warning others about the poor customer service here. Upon walking in, I was not even greeted. I picked out the $12 cable I had gone in there to find, and then proceeded to ask the guy behind the counter a simple question. This guy had terrible communication skills, and would not let me get a word in regarding my knowledge and continued to try to up-sell me on an unnecessary $100+ audio interface. I have been DJing for 10+ years and producing music for 5, so I know what I need and what I don’t need. This guy would not let me a get word in and kept speaking over me, as if I knew nothing on the subject. To be fair, the item was fairly priced, but his manners were so off putting that I put it down. I’ll go bring my business elsewhere where they actually treat their customers with some dignity. I usually don’t leave reviews but it felt necessary to warn any beginners to stay away from this place to prevent being discouraged when speaking to someone who thinks they know so much more...

I've been going to Music Trends since they were by the movie theater in Levittown. We are talking about 15 years or more. From the start they made me feel like family, from the owner to the employees. Any time I had any questions they answered them and always helped me make the right decision on products purchased, Not ever did I feel they tried to push products on me to just make the sale. Whether your a beginner and want something small or a long standing company you can trust that Music Trends will do everything in there power to take care of you! Even after your purchase if you have any trouble shooting questions or issues with your products they are always there to back you up as I experienced again with a recent product I purchase I made!...

Joey at Music Trends has been absolutely fantastic to work with. When I set out to find a great deal on a Chauvet Gigbar Move, Joey was incredibly responsive and attentive to all my needs. I also wanted it to arrive in time for a New Year's Eve party, so he shipped it out promptly and via UPS (just about the only reliable shipping option these days). In addition, just a few weeks after arriving I had a malfunction with the unit and Music Trends was quick to respond in providing an immediate replacement and label to ship back the defective Gigbar.
