Great local restaurant with atmosphere. It has very lovely decor. It made me feel like I was in China. They serve complimentary tea it a lovely tea kettle. We went on a Friday for lunch. While it wasn't packed 7 out of 16 tables had customers. We got carried away with ordering because we wanted to try a lot of things. Most items are low level spicy even though they aren't marked on the menu. The waitress did tell us which were spicy when we ordered. We ordered meat pies, oyster garlic vermicelli, beef skewers, meat sauce chow fun, and spare ribs rice noodles. My favorite was the meat pies. It didn't have a lot of meat but I still liked it. It was not greasy and had a flaky shell. My least favorite was the oyster garlic vermicelli. Not that it tasted bad but unless you really really love garlic don't get this dish. I love garlic but this was too much for me. I tasted garlic for hours afterwards. The skewers were very good also. You can taste the cumin. It was a little salty for me but for some else it would probably be fine. The noodles were very good but not your typical noodle. Because. They are made from rice so softer. Both noodle dishes were very good. The spareribs had fall off the bone meat. The main dishes were large portions for the price. If it wasn't so far for me, I...

This is an amazing rice noodle restaurant that has been serving me for nearly 8 years. I take my wife and daughter to Dengji at Kissena nearly every week.
This place has everything that kissena has but better. The decor and service is fantastic, you get instantly transported to a classical oriental villa when you enter. The owner of this place really outdone it this time.
Now for the food. I ordered vegetarian noodle soup with mushroom soup base. The taste of the soup is amazing, it expresses very elegant and balanced taste which makes you addicted to it every sip. The noodles and veges are cooked just right. However, if you like stronger taste, there are many side dishes that have all the tastes you can ask for, whether it be sour, spicy, or a mix of both. Their skewers are also very delicious to say the least.
It is truly a gem of a restaurant. I would recommend anyone to visit this masterpiece of interior design and try...
Read moreI recently tried this rice noodle spot after a friend’s recommendation, and I was seriously impressed! The place is clean, cozy, and the staff is super friendly and attentive – you feel welcome as soon as you walk in.
The noodles were amazing – perfectly chewy with a rich, flavorful broth. I ordered the [name of dish – e.g., Spicy Beef Rice Noodles / Tomato & Egg / Pickled Veggies & Pork], and it was packed with fresh ingredients. The beef was tender, the veggies were crisp, and the portion was generous.
What really stood out was their signature chili oil – fragrant, spicy, and just addictive. If you like a bit of heat, definitely try it!
Prices are very reasonable – I paid around [$XX] per person, which I think is a great deal considering the quality and flavor. The only downside? It can get busy during peak hours, so I’d recommend going a bit early.
All in all, this is a must-try if you’re into authentic, comforting, and satisfying rice noodle dishes. I’ll definitely be...
