Lands' End — Attraction in Town of Henrietta

I don't often visit the store because of the limited selection of petites. I always buy work and casual clothing online and exchange items as needed when I can visit the store. I had a few items to exchange so my husband dropped me off out front and I carried my box inside with my items to exchange. No one greeted me upon entering and I slowly made my way back to petites. Immediately, I saw there was limited selection per usual and was specifically looking for Starfish pants (any but legging). My husband joined me and held the box while I shopped. I just happened to pass the clearance section which had many colors of starfish pants available in regular sizes. I opted to browse there, knowing there was a sale and could always have my selections tailored. Mary, the associate, came over and explained we had less than an hour to shop because her boss said they could close early. "Like walking out at 4 and locking the door", she said. I was a little appalled because there were many other shoppers and she didn't run over to them and limit their shopping time or explain the early closing. The way she worded it and her tone was a bit condescending and rude. I found my new items and exchanged at the register. When we left, my husband explained he wouldn't have made a purchase after being treated that way. I enjoy the Lands End brand and won't let a disgruntled employee ruin my right to shop there. The same shoppers were still in the store after we left. I would suggest Mary take additional training courses on her delivery to customers. Being in retail management for over a decade and as a young adult, her actions (if I were her manager) would be grounds for documentation. Just a suggestion. Please "bubble up" to corporate a request for bootcut starfish pants to come back. Not the "flare pant" - the OG bootcut...

Pretty good place. Clean and organized and have a good petite section for us short people lol. Clean fitting rooms, good quality clothes but a but pricey. But when you have hard size to find, it helps! Beware, the sale stuff did not ring up correctly, and a staffer was asked to check the sign i mentioned. If it says same or clearance. may not be because they claimed some things are put in wrong places. That's why i only have 3 stars. Wish they had larger petite sizes though. The store is very nice. Very organized, clean, friendly staff. I had ordered online , 2 different sizes and had to return the ones that did not work out. While starting a return I noticed a Landsend store 58 miles from me. Was very surprised, had no clue one was there. So did the return, received a coupon for 10% off, of course I looked around.
