it's fine-- it's quite a small business, and they do a fine job.
It's clean, which is a requirement and not a luxury.
Before I wrote this, I read a few other reviews to gather a final opinion and reviews that stuck out stated that service gave other diners an impression/feeling of a lack of "passion" -- Employees are likely in high-school and part-time-- A lack of passion is quite understandable when you consider the nature of the business... they serve ice cream, and you serve the frozen yogurt + add toppings yourself. Unless you own a business like this I don't see how you can be passionate about such a small job. I'm sure some teenagers really love their job, but for this type of business, passion is an outlier. To make it clear, this doesn't excuse genuinely mediocre or bad service-- which is not the case for this business, I haven't had a bad experience and was treated fine by employees. The key word is "fine".
Regarding the food itself: The ice cream is fine. It's purchased from a 3rd party, juxtaposed with competitors that prepare their own ice cream. You can buy the same Perry's hard ice cream for cheaper at Wegmans or Walmart. Flavors include dairy as well as sherbet for those that cannot consume lactose. For frozen yogurt/custard, which is the main product of this business, there are multiple flavors that vary i.e. they change every once in a while. Consistent flavors are mainly vanilla and chocolate custard, as well as the equivalent frozen yogurt options. Additionally, there are non-dairy yogurt options such as sorbets. I personally like the cookies & cream yogurt the most. Again, the yogurt is self-serve. There is a good selection of toppings, you'll have quite a few dry and cold toppings to choose from. However, when children come in contact with the self-serve cold toppings it's quite common for them to touch the toppings and even put them back when trying to serve themselves. Frozen yogurt is priced well by weight, there is a cap on how much you can pay so you'll never pay too much for a large amount of yogurt, ice cream is priced by scoop. Milkshakes are fine, you can pick hard ice cream or frozen yogurt flavors.
Additionally, they do cute events for children!
3 stars is fair considering all factors: a fine place! Not mediocre and especially not bad- but not somewhere I need to go consistently.
For restaurants, 5 stars is a variety of factors-- amazing food quality, stellar service in all aspects from a host/hostess to your server or even in-house bartender to a stellar environment-- including great decor: tables, chairs and menus as well as miscellaneous furnishings or art. Unforgettable food takes skill to prepare: the ice cream isn't homemade and the yogurt is made by inserting liquid yogurt into a machine to freeze. Stellar quality service in a business like this can be difficult when there are only 1 to 2 employees (but then again more employees aren't required). The employee's duty to the customer consists of cashing said customer out. They're not there to check on you and make sure you're taken care of. As far as decor, it's fine. There are indoor and outside...

The nice thing is that if you âoverindulgeâ in your desire, there is a max-out price so you donât have to worry about it costing an arm and a leg to enjoy your treat. The max-out price for the 16 ounce cup is $7.99 and the max-out price for the 20 ounce cup is $8.49. If you become a rewards member, which is free and you get points towards free ice cream, youâll hear about the promotions theyâre offering, like bogo. Theyâre a small establishment and your patronage and suggestions can help make this place even better. If youâre in the Henrietta area, I would strongly recommend you stop by and...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I drove longingly into the yolickity parking lot in Henrietta. He had never had frozen yogurt before; I was looking forward to this adventure for quite some time. When we rolled up to the establishment it appeared to be closed. I googled the hours of the place and it said that it had been open for about a half hour. I then called the phone number for the specific establishment and the automated machine assured me of the stores hours. It was pouring rain and my boyfriend left our vehicle to get a closer look. The doors were locked and no sign of life was inside. I had not eaten breakfast that morning and my blood sugar was very low. All I wanted was frozen yogurt. The fact that yolickity was not open when it so specifically claimed to be has sent me into a spiraling depression, from which I still have not recovered. Do not go to yolickity in Henrietta....
