Totally unsatisfied with my order. I ordered online at 5:15 PM, went to pick up order at 6:10. When I got there, order only had one meal when I ordered two, also the meal that was made was very small and I had ordered extra protein for both orders. The employee behind the counter had no idea what to do, then the person behind the grill came out and started making my second order. which he made incorrectly so I stopped him mid way to corrected it, I asked to speak with a supervisor and both employees said they don't have a supervisor, those were the only words spoken the entire time I was in the store. No I'm sorry, no sense of urgency, they had almost an hour to make two dishes, and the store was not busy. I realize times are challenging right now with getting help, but this team had no idea how to address the customer or solve problems, they were just stunned and looked annoyed when I called them on the fact this order was wrong and the one they did make was incorrect as well. Its to bad, I was one of their very first customers when the Henrietta store opened and I talked them up to everyone, who also tried the place back then and were very pleased with the meals, and service. I ate there almost once a week when they open and I have been very supportive through COVID. But this is it, I'm done and its a sad story, I was so excited to see they opened in Victor, which is where my office is and we are heading back to work mid June, but I'm not going to be order from there. To Bad, great start, great food, but now it's lousy. If management does not step up very soon and correct this, the competition will win out and this chain will be...
Read moreUpdated review 2021: 4.5 stars. I've come here a good 3 years after I was last here and I am glad to say they've only gotten better with their flavors! We ordered the naan taco with chicken Tikka and vindaloo and the bowl with lamb kheema and vindaloo. We also got a side of samosa makhani.
I put everything except the sev and cranberries on my naan taco and it was delicious. Spicy, flavorful, simply yummy! My brother got everything except the sev and loved his bowl too. The samosa makhani was a little too restuarant-y makhani masala (lots of butter and tomato) and bland samosa taste as is the custom here in the US. But I liked it overall. Introducing this place to my brother, who loved it, was awesome! Keep up the good work guys. Hope you continue opening new stores everywhere!
Initial review: Interesting idea. Reminded me a lot of chipotle or the pizza place next door, Pi Craft Pizza. We chose a bowl of turmeric rice with chana masala and vindaloo curry, pander with 2 sweet curries and chicken with makhani curry. I was told it be screaming due to the spiciness of vindaloo. Sadly, the guy lost that bet. Their sides and chaat is better than the bowls. Particularly enjoyed the aloo tikka and the samosa chaat. We wished they had chopped the samosa in the chaat, but to each his own. Good first experience, and will come back to...
Read moreHonestly, I am very confused by this place. I went here for the first time today and my experience was terrible. They say it's Indian Food, but let me tell you that this is NOTHING like real Indian food. This place basically gives you a salad with chicken, lamb, or your topping on it and some sauce that kind of tastes like it would be in actual Indian food and try to pass it off as Indian. I've been to Indian Restaurants all over the world and this does not pass as Indian food in any sense. I see what they are going for and their mission to make it healthier I guess, by adding more vegetables but this is not what would be in traditional Indian food. Traditional Indian food is cooked in the sauce, not as a topping. Indian food has rich creamy flavors, this definitely does not meet the criteria. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I just laughed when they asked me if I wanted French Fries as my base for my Indian Food. Inside I just wanted to leave the place immediately because how can someone honorably do that and pass it off as Indian Food. What I recommend: Dont come here. Go 5 more minutes down the road to Tandoor of India and see what actual Indian food is. This is honestly a dishonor to Indian culture and cuisine to pass this off as...
