I’m very upset with my experience here today and I don’t normally write negative reviews but wanted to share. I was looking forward to trying a new nail salon that was close to my job, I also haven’t had my nails done in so long so I was excited. I booked the appointment in advance and planned on getting a spa pedicure and acrylic nails for my friend’s wedding this weekend. The pedicure was very good and she did a great job, it felt incredible. After I was brought to get my manicure and the gentleman who was going to be servicing me next sat down, he absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. I wasn’t even sitting there for a minute and my eyes were watering and my nose stuffed up. I apologized to him and said I was so sorry but the smell was triggering my allergies, I felt awful I didn’t want to even say anything, but I could sit there and get my nails done when I couldn’t even breathe. He got up in an absolute HUFF and went in the back room, and another woman came out to do my nails. But I was honestly just so uncomfortable and mortified by his response I just wanted to leave. Like if he just offered to go wash up or spray or something or ask if I wanted someone else, I wouldn’t have felt the way I did. I paid for my pedicure and tipped my girl. I didn’t even have a chance to even dry my toe nails yet and after I paid she said “okay next time we can do your hands, have a great day bye.” But I said I had to sit down to dry my toes at least a little? I sat for a few minutes just very uncomfortable and left. Got in the car and my entire big toe is smudged, and after all of that, of course I wasn’t going to walk back in there to have them fix it. I just sat in my car and wanted to cry. I never spend money on myself to do pampering things. I hope in the future your employees are more conscious of smelling like cigarettes while offering services in close...
Read moreCute spot but they didn’t have a lot of colors to choose from. I chose two colors from the already painted nail displays they had and chose a marble nail and an off white for the rest of my fingers. The “marble” looks clear. My mom even asked why they didn’t paint one of my nails because from far away it doesn’t look painted. I went with my best friend to get birthday pedicures and I was getting a full set. I asked if we could sit together to get our pedicures and they didn’t let us. So we sat separate for over an hour which was unfortunate. I’m used to nail salons allowing you to sit next to each other. The thing that really bothered me was when we pulled up to the location there was a sign outside that said $10 off for first time customers. My friend and I were excited only to find out it’s a $10 coupon you get for your next visit. The sign does NOT say that. One of the nail techs went outside to reread the sign and tell me I was wrong but I’m a lawyer I am not stupid. I read the sign again. I didn’t argue or fight because I was already disappointed. I most definitely will not be back and would not recommend this place unless you want something very simple and you expect...
Read moreI used to be a regular at this place, even referred other people to the place. Today I am disheartened by the business. They were giving out “gift certificates” for the new year, on the certificate it said “free pedicure” which expired the 20th of this month. I decided to use mine today, the woman was charging me $93 with the “gift certificate” and regularly without a “gift certificate” I pay $88 that’s when two nails have a design. When I don’t get any design just gel mani & regular pedi, it’s $78. If I’m using a “gift certificate” shouldn’t it be taking money off? She tried to give me the break down that I had a green tea pedicure, and I can’t get the package which is $78 for the gel mani, regular pedi. And she said my nail designs were $10. How exactly was the gift certificate being applied in anyway if I’m paying more than I normally pay? So if I get a gel manicure and the pedicure is supposed to be free with the “gift certificate” how am I paying $93? She was charging me $93 for a gel mani with design? Instead of giving me a proper break down it was just a bunch of scribbles on receipt paper, I’m very...
