Have been wanting to try this place for a while. We missed out one night when they changed their hours.
I ordered the flaming gyro deluxe, my wife had one of their Greek salads.
The gyro was one of the better tasting ones I've had in this area. I've been to another Greek establishment a few minutes away from here, although the portions are huge, the taste and freshness is not all there.
My gyro arrived stuffed with freshly sliced meat, lettuce, onion, a few tomatoes and a larger side of flaming tzatziki sauce which offered a little heat which was welcome, large side of crispy fries.
My wife's salad was colorful with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, tossed with seasoning and dressing on the side. She was impressed about the portion size given the cost (when compared to other establishments that charge way more for less) and the crispness of the salad made it tasty and satisfying.
We're definitely going to give it another try and sample something different. Looking for multiple items to add for when we have company over, we can order to share.
Looking forward to...
Read moreI have been before, but I ordered 2 gluten free pitas today. There were two separate pitas wrapped in foil. I assumed each pita was just separately wrapped. I ate the first pita and then opened the second wrapper. It had 2 pitas in it that looked totally different--the gluten free pitas. Neither the glutenous nor gluten free pita were labeled. Unbeknownst to me, I had eaten a full glutenous pita. I am waiting for my inevitable horrible Celiac reaction. I have warned this restaurant about proper labeling before if they plan to automatically include regular pita. This was the last straw. I called and spoke to the manager. His first response was to ask them not to include the glutenous pita in the future. I said that does not help me now. He verbatim said, "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him he should be training his folks to label things properly. I don't want others to get sick, and I will be now due to their negligene. I asked for his name and he hung up. I should have known better. Folks with gluten intolerances or...
Read moreFather just got out of back surgery and I wanted to treat him with a gyro lunch. Ordered 5 gyros totaling over 75 dollars. Each gyro was 13.50 each. My first impression after opening the foil was "did I order a salad?". More then Half the gyro was lettuce and onions. They filled my gyro with burnt meat nuggets and bottom trimmings. None of my meat was larger than a silver dollar. No long fresh slices just burnt nuggets dried out and gross. Super disappointing. The yogurt sauce they put on the side and it wasn't even filled up. This place obviously loves cutting corners. Also the owner was talking to me while eating his lunch with his mouth full of food when I was talking to the cashier. Finally they charge you 4 percent for using your credit card there. The place is a major disappointment. Get your gyro needs elsewhere. This business won't last long. Side note- place was clean. Veggys looked fresh. Service was good other than...
