We went out and did the typical tourist stuff and came back to our vehicle with an hr to go on our paid parking only to find a parking ticket on our vehicle. I immediately went to the police station which was within sight distance of our parking spot and was told that you could only park there till noon (the ticket was issued at 12:23) on this particular day and that there were “signs posted everywhere”. If we were in violation why not just let us know instead of waiting till we walked away and giving us a $50 fine.
