Great farmers market, highly recommended Very friendly vendors. You can sample and buy many types of food, drink, herbs, and more here. They have vegetables, herbs, meats, pickles, olives, honey, maple syrup, liquor, beer, empanadas, iced teas, kombuchas, hot dogs, burgers, briskets, candles, breads, cupcakes, and really anything else that can be locally sourced or "farmer/home" made. The prices are very reasonable for a farmers market, a bit more than a local supermarket, but everything is locally sourced, fresh, and has a good story behind it. In addition, it is leashed dog/cat/pet friendly if you want to bring your furry friend. If you're around the area, check it out, you can find some unique foods here as well. Keep in mind, no parking lot, local street parking only, but it's only a 5 minute walk depending...
Read moreI love this farmer's market. A little small but I think it covers all the needs. Some vendors come weekly while others come once or twice a month. Always can get bread, veggies, apples, kombucha, beer/wine/liquor, eggs, meats and fish. Sometimes there is honey, handmade soaps. You can donate clothing. And there is usually area community services or businesses with a stand like a petition for bike lanes, education reach out, Tarrytown Music Hall, etc. My dog likes meeting friendly dogs like herself and smelling around, all the toddlers and little kids want to pet her but she is only interested in funny little dogs...
Read moreSuch an incredibly warm, welcoming environment and largely run by passionate volunteers. Many vendors selling their own produce or meat from their own cows or pigs, largely organic or sustainably grown. Music, education, activities for children, bilingual signage, and double SNAP benefits, this market really is for everyone and right next to a beautiful library. Particular favorites of mine are the hot dogs from JD Farms, the produce from Blooming Hill Farms, and the cheese from Chaseholm...
