Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

I called earlier today and spoke with the person scheduling that appts, explaining what was bothering me and what I wanted. She listened and explained who was available. I decided to go with it bc I was feeling desperate. I was so PLEASED! Jeanette is young, but that shouldn't stop anyone from trusting her hands! She is knowledgeable, talented, skilled, and effective. On top of that, she is so delightful. Asked a few questions, made a few comments, but didn't press the chit chat beyond what I was giving. She was GREAT. I want Jeanette to know how great she was, and to not be intimidated by her age. She went to school and got certified. She has the talent and the know-how. I highly recommend her, but then again, there are a few people who are terrific. I saw Kayon not too long ago and she was AMAZING. And then I have heard from people who love others. I have been going to Hand and Stone, Port Washington for several years. I am always extremely satisfied with their services, usually a massage, facial or both! Whoever I deal with including the owner, therapists or receptionist, I am always impressed with their professionalism, helpfulness, knowledge and warm welcome. I was very happy yesterday as it was my first visit after being away so long due to the quarantine. I wasn’t worried as this establishment has always been spotlessly clean. I was impressed with the few precautions they have added to keep both workers and clients safe and healthy. We were asked to call from outside to let them know when we arrived. They are being careful about social distancing by having people go straight to their therapy rooms after simply being scanned for fever with a infrared thermometer. Everyone is wearing masks. I've been a member at Hand and Stone for a few years now, and have had several different therapists do massage work on me. Once I find a therapist I really like, I stick with them. I've been extremely happy with my current therapist and wish I could have a weekly massage, but I usually come every 3 to 4 weeks. Massage is one of those things that's very personal. The therapist I love may not be right for you, and vice versa. There's only one way to find out and that's by having the therapist work on you. I've never had a facial at Hand & Stone but assume the aestheticians are as good as the massage therapists. The shop itself is very pleasant, attractive and clean. The massage rooms and restrooms are spic and span clean. The owner of this franchise is a lovely woman and the young ladies working at the front desk are bright and helpful.
