I will never spend anything in this store. The adviser is not professional at all. If my LV journey starts here, I won't join the LV family, never thought LV will have such trained adviser/manager. This store only cares about sales, NOT repair or customer care. Here's what I have experienced.
I spent 1 hour LV store in Tokyo, bought 2 bags and lastly 1 wallet. The adviser was very patient to me, and not giving my any altitude because the bags I purchased was for my family. I picked this wallet quicky for myself just becuase Jun is very helpful and thought I should get something for myself. I am happily went out of the store and didnt open the package he packed for me, I put in my luggage right away. Two days later I fly back to NY, I open the package and saw there is a scratch on the side of the wallet, and the film on LV logo was pilled out. I am frustrated of this what I got, and I don't know why he packed something that has scratched to me.
So I went to NY LV Americana Manhasset store today to see if I can exchange, the adviser said he cant see it and cant feel the scratch (im not sure if his numb....Obviously he dont want to deal with me) Im insist showing him and he told me I need to pay the tax if I want to exchange. Ok, then he bring the wallet inside and came out stated its was used. I was like.....huh? That's right out of the package....I dont want to waste my time argue, don't want to say a word to him. I am a loyal LV customer, I have 4 LV wallets and 5 LV bags, there is no point for me to waste my time here if I ever used the wallet. He said Im sorry and leave, he didnt even offer any other option like a "repair". I even speak to one of the manager, she just said yes I need to cover the tax and left. I'm totally not happy at all with the experience. I think I need to reconsider when purchasing any LV product...

Me and my boyfriend stood there for 5 mins and workers kept walking past us or having their own little conversations not really attending to anyone. So we waited to ask another person after 10 minutes of waiting and they told us, someone will be with us shortly. WE STOOD NXT TO THE HOST AND WAITED AGAIN, AND SHE WOULDN'T EVEN PAY ATTENTION OR HELP US TO MAKE SURE THAT SOMONE WILL BE WITH US SHORTLY. She kept looking down at her iPad or welcomed anyone else who entered. Another family entered the store to do an exchange and they were told to wait 5 minutes as well. Within 2 mins, someone grabbed them to help them and me and my boyfriend were so confused. We also stood there as the other workers were watching us and making side conversations/ laughing as if we didn't belong there. We then asked someone else who walk past and was standing next to the host for help and she told us we needed to put our name down with the host. Obviously, the host didn't care to put our name down the first time or assist us, but just make us look ridiculous. Needless to say, this store is very prejudice and helpless. I am very disappointed with these people and their service. What would have taken 2 mins in the store took a 45 min wait of standing in front the store looking like an idiot.

Read moreBought a bag as a gift for my little sister and paid for it over the phone and had it mailed to her as a gift. She did not like it and wanted to return. I had Louis Vuitton send her a return label. Since, she lived few miles from the store, on December 7, 2020 she decided to take it there in person along with the return label provided by LV and the receipt that I received from the LV.
LV store manager was unhelpful and disrespectful towards my sister despite the fact that she provided the receipt that LV emailed me along with the return label that LV had sent.
Manager demanded a credit card receipt, which was never provided to me as I paid it over the phone, and without that she refused to return the bag. My sister called me in distress and I attempted to call the store to speak to the manager. but was unable to get through the recording for 15 min and had to hang up as my sister left the store without returning the bag and refused to deal with such a unhelpful and unreasonable store manager.
I guess I learned my lesson: no more LV purchases and gifts for me and my family.
Curious as to all the good reviews...maybe my sister was treated with disrespect because she is a minority and NOT WHITE
