I visited this store today to request an alteration service. One of the salespersons said that I have to bring a recent receipt to show that the coat has dry cleaned to follow the Covid protocols at the spot. I understand that this should be done to be safe… but then do they dry clean my coat before they return it back to me? That was my first thought. The online system has to be updated quickly and they could have more respectful customer service without showing a nasty attitude. I did not just walk in. I made a reservation for alteration service specifically before I came in. You should let customers know ahead of time what they need to do before they come in if they are that cautious and if they already asked me the reason for visit. Otherwise, what’s the point of having the online reservation system? Is that the world class customer service you guys are bragging about? I’ve been going the same Burberry store for past 20years to buy stuffs but this first and last time to fix my coat stop me going there next 20years. Read moreI made an in store return, but due to the amount of the return the refund had to be given through a check from LONDON! First of all, I didn’t purchase this item in London therefore the refund should not Be coming from London. The refund should have been tendered at the location that the item was returned/bought. Makes no sense at all!! The refund I was told by Saraphina (sales associate) would take 6-8 weeks to come by mail, BUT on the receipt it says 4 weeks. In any case the 4,6,and 8 week window for the check to arrive has closed and I have yet to receive the refund check. I have called the store multiple times to get any information regarding this issue only to be given the run around. JESSICA at this location told me to give her a few days to figure out what’s going on and never reached out. The amount of the check is over $1000 which is a lot of money to me. This has been such an awful and frustrating experience, I would like my refund and want nothing to do...
Read moreI was having an issue making an exchange from one Burberry location to another. The location in Manhasett is being completely disregarding because I didn't purchase the product from their location. Their excuse was no exchanges can be made without a receipt, they were able to pull my file and show the purchase, I contacted the store which I made the purchase, they sent the receipt and it still wasn't good enough. I now have to go to the location where I made the purchase which is completely out of my way. When I get to the location I will make a return instead of an exchange because of this disgusting treatment towards paying customers. My wife and I are completely done with Burberry.
