Kith and Kith Treats Manhasset — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I recently visited Kith and was excited to try their treats, but my experience left much to be desired. My friend and I decided to order some ice cream when we noticed the treats shop was open. However, what followed was quite alarming. As we placed our order and paid, I observed the worker making our ice cream. To my dismay, he was not wearing gloves. This immediately raised concerns about food safety and sanitation. What really troubled me was that he picked up a piece of chocolate with his bare hands after touching the register screen. It was unsettling to see him touching his face as well, which made me question the cleanliness of the entire preparation process. Spending over $30 on ice cream should come with the reassurance that proper hygiene practices are being followed.

Unfortunately, that was not my experience at Kith Treats, and I found it both disgusting and unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure that all staff adhere to sanitary guidelines for the safety and satisfaction of their customers.

I drove 10 minutes just to get my son ice cream and he had to wait in line for 20 minutes in the cold weather, when it was time for him the order, the teen brutally rejected him and slammed the window shut even though there was still thirty minutes left until closing time. The service and and the attitude is horrible and this is no way to treat a customer especially an eleven year old boy. Why would anyone still want to buy ice cream at this place when they are targeting the very customers (children) that want to buy their ice cream? I can understand that they all want to go home and all but the attitude and the window slamming was unnecessary. They as if just pretended that he wasn’t there anymore and hopeless. Worst...

Staff must have been high as a kite. My order was skipped numerous times. After asking if they forgot my order the cashier said “I gotchu”. They continued to skip my simple single ice cream order as I watched milk shakes and special ice creams come out for the customers that ordered after me. After asking again on numerous occasions where my order was they continued to say “its coming”. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague until they hire a staff that’s not...
