I recently purchased a Tempurpedic ProBreeze mattress. I have scoliosis and was on the market for a mattress that will help alleviate my back pain, which has increased since the pandemic started in March. I had the pleasure of speaking with Sam, who let me test several mattresses, while engaging me in conversation about mattresses, mattress technology, sleep, comfort, back pain, and life. Sam is much more like a sleep enthusiast than a salesman. If you’re in the market for a mattress, or if you're simply interested in learning about sleep technology or improving your sleep, I highly recommend going in and talking to Sam. He never pushed a sale on me, never made me feel rushed (and I was there talking and testing mattresses for a long time), never like a customer, and never felt he didn’t care about how I’ll sleep.

My experience felt far more like learning about sleep, comfort, and back support than it did shopping for a mattress. Sam was always happy and interested to talk with me, answer my questions, respond to my concerns, shed advice on how to improve my sleep and back pain, and engage in conversation about quality sleep. When he didn't know an answer, he didn't pretend to, but he still engaged me in conversation and looked for answers.

For me particularly, Sam helped educate me on everything that could help reduce my back pain, patiently and diligently, I’ve had scoliosis since elementary school, and I was not simply looking to buy a mattress. I was looking to learn about sleep technologies (pillows and mattresses) to help improve my back pain and pressure support. I almost made a horrible mistake going for a much firmer mattress, too firm for my weight, but Sam guided me in the right direction and I am getting great sleep and reducing my back pain.

I don't give my business to anyone. I gave my business to Sam because he is extremely personable, patient, passionate about helping people improve their sleep, and knowledgeable. Sam has been selling mattresses for 20 years. He really knows his stuff, and not just currently, he knows the history, different technologies, how things have improved, what will meet people's needs. I am more than happy to have given it to Sam, and I highly recommend Sam for anyone looking for a new mattress or interested in learning ways to improve...

I pretty much hate everybody these days so for me to write this review says something.

This was an awesome shopping experience. A little background for contrast... I previously purchased a mattress online. I took an online cheesy sleep test and trusted it. They recommended a midnight luxe, a hybrid mattress that came out of a box. Yes the unboxing was cool, I'll give them that, but the mattress was awful. I had to sleep on it for 30 days before they let me return it and I woke up every morning with numb arms because the mattress was so bad. Then the return policy was so horrendously complicated I just put this thing in my spare room.

I said I would never order something like this online again and I made my way over to Mattress firm for a real mattress. That was where I met Sayed. This guy should be called the bed doctor. You walk in and he's the nicest guy in the world. He starts chatting with you casually about your sleep needs and habits. It just feels like a casual conversation but he's computing the perfect mattress for you. Then you lie on multiple different mattresses while he points out there attributes and ask you more questions. With his guidance, I made a choice and I felt really confident about it. I was also surprised to find out I could have it delivered really quickly or virtually any day I wanted. Then the delivery process was perfect. You get reminder emails and phone calls. It also includes tracking information with GPS of the truck as it's heading towards you. Seriously? It really can't get better than that. The gentlemen brought the mattress in (after covering their shoes with protective cotton things to keep your rug clean), unwrapped it, and put it right where I asked them to. They could not have been any nicer. I've now slept on this mattress enough to confirm it's extremely comfortable. It really is the perfect fit for me and how I sleep. I feel like I'm sleeping at a four-star hotel. The shopping experience made me realize that mattress selection is not easy. So when you have somebody like Sayed (the bed doctor), it's a world of difference. The stores pricing, policy, and service was fantastic but it's really about who you work with. My advice is to never buy a mattress online, instead drive past all of the mattressfirm stores closest to you until you get to Roslyn to see the bed...

We went into Mattress Firm not knowing what we wanted. I thought we needed a firmer mattress because of our back issues. We both had different requirements and yet had to sleep on the same mattress. We went into Sayed's store located in Roslyn. Sayed spent a lot of time with us educating us on the different mattresses and pillows and how they not only impact your sleep but our health. We tried many different mattresses and pillows there and because of Sayed's expertise, we ended up with a mattress and platform that we never thought we would purchase. We have now been sleeping on our new mattress for a week and cannot believe the difference. We are now wondering why we did not do this sooner, Within a few days, back pain have drastically subsided, neck pain is gone and we wake up with more energy in the morning. The platform we purchased was an adjustable platform which I fought against but now after sleeping on it for a week, I wonder why we did not purchase one before. Also, we had been to 2 other well known companies for mattresses and Mattress Firm gave us the best pricing and the most comfortable mattress and platform. Sayed, we cannot thank you...
