Sad to say, this Sephora experience was an unbearable disappointment. I came to get my makeup done at 12pm. I was assigned to makeup artist Linda. The final look was very underwhelming, so she offered to have another artist complete the look. Danielle was essentially redoing the entire look, due to the foundation being caked on and eyebrows being filled in incorrectly. While she was redoing my look, an older Asian employee with a blonde bob comes over and inquires how I get my eyebrows done, and emphasizes that I should have gotten them done beforehand because they were very thick and “I had hairs all over.” This was as I was getting my makeup done! All the while, many employees were passing me and inspecting my makeup which made me extremely uncomfortable. Folks, my eyebrows are not the thickest and in fact, even if they were, this is blatantly disrespectful, rude, and inappropriate to say to a CUSTOMER getting her makeup done at your place of employment. After my look was completed by 2:40 (2 hours and 40 minutes later), I spoke to the manger and explained the situation. She nodded and said that she would speak to the woman and proceeded to charge me for the look in its entirety.
I have gotten my makeup done COUNTLESS times at Sephora and sadly, this has been the most disappointing experience thus far. This store does not meet the standards of any neighboring Sephoras in customer service and in...
Read moreMy sisters and I went to this location for 60 minute full face of makeup services. I had called the day before to let the store know we would be on an expedited timeline for a wedding and if we could keep it closer to 45 minutes/ensure we don’t go over the 60 minutes that would be great. The associate I spoke said she would relay the message but we would find out that clearly it was not.
When we arrived I again told one of the makeup artists, Brigid, that we needed to be done no later than an hour for a wedding. Brigid ended up taking 90 minutes on my sister and didn’t even end up setting her face with powder and was rushing at the end. Tildy, my makeup artist, came in 15 minutes late and reeked of cigarettes. She applied my foundation with her fingers which felt extremely unsanitary and odd for a full coverage look I was asking for. She had another artist add lashes for me who ended up added a ton of liquid eyeliner to me when I specifically did not want that- adding more time to the process to fix it.
The stars on this review are solely for the beauty advisor who did my other sisters makeup and and ended up taking the time to fix and finish mine and actually listened to what I wanted - unfortunately I can’t remember her name. I will say that out of my sisters and I - only the advisor’s makeup that took the shortest amount of time and fixed mine lasted...
Read moreI literally went to three employees and told them that my mom has cancer and asked them to enforce people wearing a mask. I then watched the girl at the front door COMPLETELY ignore my request and I watched as multiple people came in without a mask after I specifically asked her to enforce the mask policy multiple times. I went over again and said there’s girls behind you not wearing a mask. I saw her not ask them to out on a mask. We went in front of the store and I counted 9 more people completely maskless and 2 with masks below their nose. I was scared for my mothers health. I never complain about stores or Covid but this was a gross example of incompetence and danger to the store customers. Someone shouldn’t be letting people in without masks and staff shouldnt be afraid to ask their customers to wear a mask. Im a good customer and I will never shop...
