Hicksville — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

Never try to park there. You will either get a ticket or your car towed. I was trying to find parking one night and all the lots you need to have a town of Oyster Bay sticker. So I found a lot that did not have a sign upon entering. I parked and ran to catch the train. Little did I know it was a privately owned lot and there is a sign at the far end of the lot saying all cars that did not pay between 5am-11am will be towed. It’s pretty much a scam. There is no booth or sign upon entering the lot. It’s a privately owned lot so the owner has cameras set up and as soon as he sees a car enter after the person sitting in a chair leaves after 11am. He calls the towing company and your car is gone. Yes there is a sign to warn you but it is not upon entering. So be careful. The lot has many entrances. None with signs. 7:05am Train from hicksville to grand central is always delayed, ever since it started never came on time. I was happy with grand central line but do not trust if this will ever be on time !! Useless service after spending 11 billions and 15 years I guess ;(

Hoping someone from LIRR respond saying timings will improve and trains will be on time.

This is 2023, after spending billions and a decade if you can't manage trains schedule then MTA has serious issues. This is the time for your highly overpaid employees to perform well...

I work as a waiter in Manhattan and I commute daily from Hicksville to Penn Station. The LIRR is the most unreliable and overpriced train service. It’s ridiculous what they will do to the schedules with no previous warning... NEVER forget to check your train times at least a day before your trip so you don’t get caught by surprise. I’m very disappointed again, again and again. For the amount of money they are making there should be more trains running and newer cars. Thank God I’m moving to the city....
