Regal Champlain Centre — Attraction in Town of Plattsburgh

So loud I had to leave, paid cash (not refunded), given a pass to return at another time…….. but I can guarantee it will still be way too loud. Even with headphones on it was still unbearably loud. Louder is not better. I was told that the commercials were exceptionally loud and that the movie would be OK. But my kid’s ears were already in so much pain I could not stay . My child was crying because she wanted to see the movie. They said they were going to turn it down and never did. I paid more for popcorn and soda than I did for the movie and threw it all in the garbage. It is a kids movie the little mermaid. There is no reason at all to have it so loud that a child cries!!! Movie theater is kept clean.

Bathrooms are clean.

The workers should know the days that they have the discounts however.

We were about to be charged full price for a movie and popcorn until I said I thought Tuesday was the value day.

The attendant then said well you have to be a member in which I already had my membership out and then he scanned it which lowered the prices.

You'd think if you have a value day you wouldn't be inclined to just charge people the full price without asking them for their membership /crown membership I'd/rewards (especially since it's free to join!)

Most people just pay without looking at the charge and then see it later...

Update: please don't block the box office times with balloons. Mentioned to staff and they just shrug. Come on.

Old Review: Very friendly staff. Our main theater we go to frequently. Typically no wait or lines and we often get the theater to ourselves (depending on movie and day of week). Due to the small number of auditoriums for showings they tend to keep at least one family type movie for longer while more adult movies get swapped out sooner. So go see your movie when it first comes out or it might disappear before you can.

Regal has an unlimited plan which is great if you see movies often. Not all the other Regals are as friendly as this...
