would give this place zero if i could. I went in with my brother-in -law and at first it was very normal. We were having small talk and he asked if i had lost weight? i said yes and he immediately offered me a job and to stay with him (like live with him). He offered us food and we said yes. We sat down and immediately the vibes were off and we felt very uncomfortable. There is an employee there who is African American and he was cleaning the counters and the owner (i think) who we were talking to before came up to him and said to him “the counters are as dirty as your face”. He kept saying these kinds of things to him and eventually my brother-in-law stood up and said not to talk to him like that. The man told him to come into the kitchen, and he said no but he kept insisting that he go in there. He didn’t go in there but we were ready to leave but we hadn’t checked out yet. He gave us the the food and he was being really suspicious walking behind us, watching us eat, and making sure we ate the food, which we did not!! The meat was grey and the food looked nasty too. We had finally gotten the courage to leave and he charged my brother-in-law extra when we were checking. just want to let everyone know that i was shopping at restaurant depot in Newburgh and I saw the meat butcher that works at mid-Hudson market wappingers falls ny buying about 11 cases of non-halal chicken meat and 2 cases of halal chicken meat.

The Butcher told us it is for the gyro n grill place at 1582 route 9 in wappingers falls ny, in the dutchess shopping center where dunkin donut is. He also stated that mid Hudson grocery owner is partners with them.

I strongly believe he is selling us Muslims non- halal meat. This is not the first time I seen this it’s been few times. We don’t know especially when he has it cute up and displayed.

My family and I was also getting sick every time We ate the chicken We bought from him. I think we were eating non-halal meat he sold to us.

The meat i got was good quality and also good price in my opinion. It's cheaper than North Carolina, which is where i lived before i moved here. The ground beef had very little fat in it. Especially compared to non halal meat you would find in, say, walmart. But they are a little shady. My husband had his friend call him because apparently they treat "friends" or loyal customers better than their new customers. Which is weird. So i understand why there are so many complaints about this place.
