From the moment we stepped into the vibrant atmosphere, we were greeted by the incredible staff — Ty and Lauren! These two are not just game masters; they are wizards of fun and suspense! Their infectious enthusiasm and warm energy set the perfect tone for our adventure. Ty’s charisma and Lauren’s brilliant sense of humor made us feel like we were embarking on a thrilling journey, rather than just solving puzzles.

Now, let’s talk about the room! The creativity and detail that went into designing the escape room is nothing short of astounding! The twists and turns kept us on our toes, while the clever puzzles had us laughing and brainstorming together as a team. My twins were turning 12 and they wanted to do something different for their birthday this year; so, we booked escape rooms! From my first call with Escape Trappe, I had a good experience. Michelle took her time and explained all the options we had. I booked two rooms and the party room. The night of the reservation we were running late, but the staff was very accommodating. When we finally arrived all 18 children rush to the door (of course it had to be pouring rain that night…) and I could see shock in the staff’s eye, but they handled our group with patience, and were very polite. The staff that I worked with at the front desk were very helpful and kind. I didn’t get all of the staff’s names but they were all wonderful. Our group was not quite, but the staff seemed to be ok with it. The facility was very clean and modern, and the party room was a nice bonus. The children said they had a blast, and were able to escape before their time was up! (No spoilers) Staff was friendly. Prices are a bit high, but not extreme. I believe they offer 3 rooms, maybe 4. The room we chose was challenging, but doable. We tried the Wizard room. I liked the aesthetic of the whole room and you can tell they put a lot of work into the design. We were only a party of 3 and we finished with under a minute to go. We did get a couple clues. Some were needed because of miscommunication on our part, however there was one part that I'd be shocked if anyone figures out without the clue, or seeing something similar in another escape room. One of the challenges I figured out before finding the riddle which is supposed to be the key to solving it. This threw off the order we were supposed to solve it in, but I suppose that's my own fault.

Ultimately a fun room and a challenge for experienced room escapees. They give you a discount for your next room if you pay upfront after solving the first one. We did that, but haven't gone back yet to...
