If you haven't been here and you're anywhere in the area, you need to try this fantastic spot. This small family-run restaurant is huge on flavor, value, and friendliness. We eat here at least once a week. Sometimes two or three times. We never get tired of our regular orders, and every time we try something new, we're blown away by how they can make each dish have so much character and quality.
Portions are extremely generous. Some of the meals we get last one night, but most of the time they're good for two dinners and a lunch per item. Everything is consistently amazing. This is the kind of place that always leaves you feeling great, even if you over-indulge.
Grab some soup, get an entree, and don't skip out on the desserts. You're missing out on something delicious and unique. 10/10 coconut ice cream, taro puffs, rice puddings; the list goes on.
Tony and Ladda run an extremely clean, very organized kitchen. They don't claim to be 'professional chefs', but I would rate them higher than a good 95% of places I've been to, at least. They're also some of the friendliest people I know. Not too many places feel like part of the community like this, and you're missing out if you haven't given Siam...
Read moreIt can be hard to find a non-American restaurant in this area that actually tastes authentic. Siam Deluxe pulls that off, complete with a few dishes I haven’t seen before, and their service is quick and kind. (I’ve seen much older cashiers who aren’t half as professional.) They’ll treat you well regardless, but if you get to know them, they turn out to be extra kind and sweet. I made this place a staple of one of the tougher times in my life, and even the entrees I hadn’t had before felt like comfort food. It was so great to discover the cashew chicken, and to have some quality drunken noodle in the area again. The dishes marked as spicy are still usually pretty mild, I think because they know what kinds of palettes most customers in their zone have—but if more spice is your thing like it is mine, you can convince them pretty easily that you’re ready for it, and they’ll make you just you want. They even had eco-friendly nonplastic takeout packaging when I was there. I’m still thinking about the place now that I’ve moved away. You should give them a try, and tell...
Read moreIt's a pretty decent Thai restaurant/takeout joint.
You're immediately greeted by a very charming hostess. You can give food orders and grab your seat while you wait for your plates to come out of the kitchen. There are a total of six tables of varying sizes from two-seater to a picnic table for six. I thought the murals on walls were very nicely done.
Service was great with the aforementioned charming lady and her husband who was preparing hot food. The food was very good (my panang curry with chicken, $11), but I was told Pad Thai (with chicken, $11) was not the best. Lunch specials (appetizer and entree) start with $10 (depends on your pick of protein). I had papaya salad for my choice of appetizer.
I'm willing to come back and try some other offerings. If you're in the area and would like to try your luck, you probably will enjoy...
