We had to stop by store location last Sunday because our check engine light came on. Or first stop was the Advanced Auto store across the street from them, but the staff informed us that they didn't have a diagnostic machine so wouldn't be able to help us.
So I immediately thought to myself why not try this O'Reilly store, and we discovered that we were blessed with excellent customer service from Tom. He was very knowledgeable about vehicles and was able to give excellent advice after completing a free diagnostic check of our vehicle. Long story short...once I purchased a few auto parts I was able to fix the check engine light and we were back on the road again.
Their facility has a big private parking lot which made it convenient during our visit. Their prices are very affordable and reasonably priced compared to their competitors. But hands down....Tom's customer service was very exceptional. He went above and beyond to assist us once he discovered we were just traveling through the area.
Because of Tom's excellent customer service on this occasion...our family will now be a loyal and lifetime O'Reilly Auto Parts member. I'd highly recommend this store location for your auto parts or...
Read moreBefore you leave the store, check your box to make sure the part number on the box matches the number on the part, or you won't get warranty help. $100 mistake on my part...2 stars is for them giving me the wrong box (had been opened and looked like a re-stock) with the right part (I didn't see that until I got home and was installing) that went bad. After spending 2+ hours between two of their stores and coming up empty, I came home. Did a little more digging and found that I replaced the opposite side over a year ago from a different store, so this just further validated what I already knew. Mistakes happen, and I understand the dilemma from their perspective. They offered to discount a replacement, but I think I'll spend full price and get it from a store that has given me the benefit of the doubt...
