As a Tucson local, I grew up with this place. It holds a special place in my heart, which makes it hard to give it just an okay review. I will start with the good, the staff was overall friendly, and I saw that some of the courses have received some much needed upkeep since the last time we were there. Not all the holes but some of them have received some new turf, which made me feel excited that it was getting the TLC it needs. Some of the fountains for the waterfalls were off, so that was a little disappointing, but minigolf was fun. For a family of 5, it cost us $63 just for the minigolf, so keep that in mind. The arcade seemed to have some really decent games in there now, which was also, very encouraging, and exciting. It seems like the games are not being very well maintained. Skee-ball was having serious issues tonight. I put a token into the original skee-ball, and nothing came out for me to play. I told the staff, they called for an arcade tech, that never came. It wasn't until my child had a problem with another skee ball, that I decided to go back up there, and let them know that the tech never came, so they gave me back a token. The manager actually went and grabbed the arcade tech, which was much appreciated, and the technician was working on fixing the skee ball machines. Two of them didn't play when they had coins put in, one didn't spit out tickets after playing, even though it was full, I asked the tech why, and they couldn't give me an answer besides, it just does that and they all spit out different amounts of tickets. While fixing skee ball, the arcade tech was called to professor cogworks ( a shooting one) which wouldn't play correctly (my kids wasted 8 tokens into that), doodle jump, and one more that I didn't hear. While all this was going on, I noticed some huge dust built up in the skee-ball, and it occurred to me that the games aren't really being taken good care of, which is sad. Additionally, the ticket payouts to the prize cost, are pretty off, which makes it difficult to win much, and they also still use a ticket "eater" and old school tickets instead of cards, which makes it a little difficult to enjoy your time having to make sure you "got them all". I get it, a lot of this costs money, but things like wiping down games, or making sure they look nice costs time and a little bit of effort. I attached pictures of how dirty skee-ball is, and some of the newer games they have around it because I was trying to find some happy high points. Overall, I will probably come back because it is near and dear to my heart, but I am probably going to bribe my kids for a toy at Target rather than spend money in the arcade.

The only reason I'm giving it a 1 star is the go carts I went on the double rider (had one of my kids with me) 1. The go cart was SLOW it didn't catch up to any of the other one, I got 2 less laps than everyone else who was in front and passed me it would NOT speed up! 2. It almost didn't turn, turning right was fine but to the left, almost in possible and then when you did the left wheel would make you bounce uncontrollably! 3. That same go cart they tell you pump the breaks on the red light which I still had less laps I was PUMPING THE BREAKS as told to do, GUESS WHAT! IT WOULDNT SLOW DOWN! I HAD TO TAKE THE HEEL OF MY FOOT AND HOLD THE VERY BOTTOM ON THE BREAK TO GET IT TO SOMEWHAT SLOW DOWN! The other drivers I was with didn't have any of the issues I had theirs all drove fine and then when I told the workers about it one drove it around and then decided to be caddy and talk to their buddy going "it was fine perfectly fine" which makes me think they know which cart has the issues and refuse to get it fixed! Because when I tried another cart guess what, not a single issue the breaks worked like breaks are supposed to, the speed was good, and it didn't have issues in the turns. So golf and stuff your staff was very rude and condescending when told about issues for ONE cart and I bet they won't fix it either, because they don't care about your safety, they don't care at all and then act like you're in the wrong when you bring up a litteral issue that can hurt someone, won't go again, and definitely tell people not to go, just for that one issue. FIX YOUR EQUIPMENT AND MAYBE TELL YOUR STAFF ABOUT SHOWING THE SMALLEST AMOUNT OF UNDERSTAND OR TO NOT BELITTLE...

Golf and stuff pretty much the only amusement park in Tucson Don't you think they would get it right. But there are a few things that slip past their attention but not mine. 1st and most obvious things is the condition of the bathrooms, They were so filthy and disgusting I was not able to use them and had find somewhere else to use the restroom. There is a nother less minor but still serious complaint. At the park they have a series of water ways and small rivers, These are manmade but have ducks in them. It appears that they feed the ducks because there are many of them and they look healthy. The only problem as well as playing Mini golf I lost the golf ball I went to look for it in a bush there I found a nest of ducks duck eggs I was very very very disturbed by this!!! What happened to these duck eggs if they were hit by a golf ball!!!! I was tempted to call animal control or alert the staff!! Another less minor complaint is the seating for the go karts although the go karts are made to to accommodate children and adults they have no padding and are just bare plastic. This means that while you are driving and the conditions of the road are tough your back is rattling against hard plastic. After afew times of writing the go karts your back will be sore. But it's almost like out of the pain disgustingness and the concern for the ducks, that the park still exudes with happiness within it. And it reminds you of your childhood of happier times when money or bad bathroom conditions didn't matter. And that's why I like it. Ps this is the picture of...
