This gym is a unicorn amongst horses! A true gem in the fitness industry. I'm serious, I've been to a lot of gyms and Faith, Weights and Protein Shakes definitely stands out. The amount of care that they show for each and every person that comes in through the doors, whether for one day or one year, is incredible. David, the owner, really cares about everyone at the gym and wants to see them become at their best physically and also most importantly, spiritually! The training here is top-notch and the trainers know their stuff. I've personally seen great and lasting results through this gym! The Christian atmosphere here brings a whole different dynamic to this gym than any other. Anyone can come in and join and train at this gym, but everyone will at least leave with something more than a sweaty workout if they look around and are aware; a sense of God being present in the room. Faith Weights is a personal gym but more than that, an outpost of Light and Truth in the kingdom of darkness. It lifts up the name of Jesus and not the ego. I’ve personally known the owner David since we worked together over 12 years ago. I’ve witnessed the blood, sweat and tears he’s put into building the gym and growing the business. I’ve worked out at 20 plus gyms around town. This is the only one where I’ve found that every member I meet just wants to help support you. They are genuinely pleasant to be around. The atmosphere is unlike any other gym I’ve been to here in Tucson. It’s so refreshing to know whenever you go in you won’t get swarmed by a squad of gym rat employees trying to push weekly promos on you, or other members judging your appearance and physique. It’s a place you can change your life and nourish your soul at the same time. I could go on, but I think you get the idea. From the trainers, to the supplements and environment, it’s just awesome. We joined this gym a year ago and paid for personal training, nutrition assistance and we agreed to a month to month family gym membership. My wife and i were excited to get our health journey started but issues arose quickly. The person who was doing our nutrition assessment was fired and we weren’t told about it until we inquired a month later. No refund was offered. But instead a one week menu was sent to our email. We paid $300 for a menu. Then we were told that we were not month to month but had a one year contract. When we signed up we specifically told them we wanted no contract. We’re still being charged monthly for a membership we never agreed to. The owner David has failed to respond to our emails, phone calls, text messages and we still have not received anything that was promised. Please be aware.
