My family and I waited a half hour in our car to see transformers. We were exceptionally early and chose this theatre since it had been a while since we last came. This was a huge mistake to spend my money here. This theatre not only ruined my entire family's experience but it was also on this day we chose to celebrate fathers day in tucson. Living down south, my family enjoys movies typically at Oasis Theatres or Mirage in Nogales since we could take in our baby stroller. Our infant sleeps through movies in his stroller so this was a big big BIG upset that Harkins won't alloy strollers anymore. This was told to us by the manager and said manager stated it was against a code but it wasn't specified anywhere for us to look up. Upset, I told my family let's just leave but my wife insisted we see the movie we waited so long in the parking lot to see and for me for father's day. So about 15 minutes in our infant woke up since they weren't used to sleeping being held (No Surprise). My wife left the building and missed the entire movie, my wife sat the entire time practically in the parking lot with our fussy infant. My daughter depressed her mom isn't there with us to enjoy the experience AS A FAMILY. And for myself, ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE that MY WHOLE FAMILY WAS MISERABLE FOR NO GOOD REASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Insult to injury, MANAGEMENT DIDNT CARE!!!!!!!!
IF YOU HAVE AN INFANT AND EXPECT TO COME TO THIS THEATRE FOR A MOVIE THINKING THEY CAN SLEEP IN THEIR STROLLER THEN AVOID HARKINS ENTIRELY.
I REPEAT!
IF YOU WANT TO USE A STROLLER AVOID HARKINS.
NOT ACCOMMODABLE FOR FAMILIES WITH INFANTS
AND, whose idea is it to put a changing table by the public restroom doorway in front of the sink?! Who wants to change an infant in front of wary strangers?!
I'm sure this won't get anywhere and more so no one working for this company will care. A small cog to the greater machine obviously. However; The least I can do is warn fellow families w infants that this place ain't it at all. Go to about any other theatre to have a more pleasant and FAMILIY ORIENTED experience.
as for Harkins, you all lost our business for life. WE DONT WANT PASSES TO RETURN, JUST OUR MONEY BACK FOR THE EXPERIENCE THAT YOUR COMPANY TARNISHED. If that will even...
Read moreI’ve been to this Harkins many times over the last 20 years. It makes me sad that my experience today is the one that has made me leave a review. There was only one employee today that compelled me to leave this review. Nikki. She is, I believe some sort of management. Honestly I only noticed her because of her short and high slit skirt with loud heels sort of wandering through the open space behind the concession stand lines which we’ve been standing in for over 15 mins. Finally, my son and I are next in line and all of a sudden Nikki brings a family of 6 (who fairly had been behind my son and I in the ticket line outside) and holds her arm out to lead them right in front of us. She says nothing, looks right at us and she literally situates them in front of my son and I? I obviously and reasonably said “um, ok then” and as far as I knew she walked away. I can clearly see she works for Harkins so what am I going to do besides wait longer. She must have heard me say “um, ok then” because minutes later she approaches my son and I to say if I’m unhappy or if I don’t like my experience she can refund me or give us tickets for another showing. Me, confused, said “we’ve been waiting at least 20 mins to get popcorn and you just put other customers in front of us without saying anything”. She continues to say she will refund us and that was all, no other explanation and absolutely zero empathy. I replied, “My son has been waiting for this movie for months, we’re fine” and I turned my back to her and faced the concession stand. I think she didn’t appreciate my dismissal of her “less than par” costumer service because not only did I hear, but also my 11 yo son hears her continue on with her comments and rudeness as she walks away from my dismissal. We went to our movie and by the time we got out and walked out of the theater she wasn’t anywhere to be seen thank goodness. She has reddish hair and an attitude, I’m sure it’s obvious who I am...
Read moreMy family has been coming to this theater for about 5 years but after tonight, we will never return. Management stopped us while we were purchasing popcorn to tell us we could not enter the theater with our multi-child stroller even though we purchased handicap seats so the stroller would be in a wheelchair spot and completely out of the was as we always do. They finally let us in but while we were watching the movie with our children the same manager, "Miss Carlos", approached us, blocking my daughter from seeing the movie screen to warn me that if my baby made any noise we'd be asked to leave. We were watching a children's movie and there were only 2 other families in the theater. She did not approach the other families about their toddlers. We have never been singled out and embarrassed in front of other customers for no reason before. She made our entire experience from start to finish absolutely horrible. My wife, who is Deaf, asked what the manager wanted. I repeated what Miss Carlos said to me and my wife was visibly upset for the remainder of the movie. We told the other manager what happened and he tried defending the behavior of his co-manager. Families who pay to see a movie at the theater should be allowed to do so without being harassed at the concession stand and then again on the theater during the movie. I'd give this specific theater a NEGATIVE 3 STARS if it were...
