Went to my first ever UofA football 🏈 game vs UCLA Bruins , it was amazing, the only thing if anything, was where to park, get there at least 1 to 2 hours early if you want a good n close to the stadium parking spot, the garages, I think there's five different parking garages surrounding the stadium 🏟️, cost are anywhere from $5.00 to $20.00 depending where you park, we found some volunteers for a charity who were charging $15.00 in a fenced in empty lot, fenced all the way around, plus, security, we had to walk to the stadium from there, around 6 blocks, we didn't want to have the hassle of fighting the traffic to get in to the garages plus the tailgating sections, plus thinking about when we leave the game, we left 5 minutes left in the game n a lot of fans were doing the same, so glad we park where we did, our departure was so much easier, you can download a PDF of the stadium 🏟️ and the surrounding garages and which streets to take, once inside, our seat were up on the second level around the 201-203 section, row 22, seats 16-20 great view, better than I thought, I suggest renting a a small bleacher seat before heading to your seats, they rent them for $10.00 a seat, butt n back savers,👍😁 also grab your food n drinks before heading to your seats n restroom throughout the stadium, all n all, great experience n our UofA team won 27-10hope all this helps some of you for a more planned n fun...
Read moreWe won so that made it more awesome!! Honestly I love this place been coming here since I was a kid, like seriously I grew up here. Love the upgrades. My biggest gripes would be parking and cost on the inside. I mean holy cow because of the prices of food and stuff(even water) we didn't buy anything the 1st game we went to. Luckily the 2nd game was a late game so we ate before we went and again spent nothing there. Only bought tickets. I brought candy in my pockets so that was enough and they let me bring in my 1 sealed water so that I guess will have to do. I miss when I was a kid and my pops would take us to tailgate activities (which is too expensive now) then inside the stadium get sodas, hot dogs, a souvenir and maybe if lucky another treat towards the end, then linger after the game and get our footballs signed. NOT NOW!!! Things...
