I’ve been a long time customer of sprouts long before this location opened. The one on golf links and kolb was always a pleasant trip and I miss the worker Artemis, she was by far the nice lady I’ve ever met at a sprouts.
However this location I will just bluntly say gives sprouts a bad name. I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I can definitively say that this location is operated to fit the geographical location in which it is based. The Spectrum plaza and this area in general is very ghetto (bunch of vagrants panhandling, stores get a bunch of theft, and high drug activity) and usually the quality of customer service in retail stores here reflect that. And sadly this has become the case for this sprouts location. The past 5 times I’ve come here at least two or three employees will subtly keep their eye on me despite me not being a thief or criminal. And tonight just confirmed that. This older Caucasian guy with a grey collared shirt kept staring at me while he pretended to be putting items away, and when I went to the self checkout, he actually walked over and started talking to the worker that was there. And lo and behold once I paid for my groceries he said nothing to me despite telling the last 4 shoppers that were leaving to have a good night.
So basically this sprouts is run to a considerably lower standard than all the other locations, which is just a shame because every other location in town is a good place to shop. Lastly, there are a handful of employees here that are rude in general, and from what I’ve read, I’m not the only one that’s dealt with it.
Just because you have a store in the ghetto side of town doesn’t mean you have to run your store like it’s a...
Read moreAnd I'm just gonna keep adding to this once again.Sprouts disappoints any other time?I go to get some poketuna if there's none made the gentlemen, we'll go in the back.Go get some tuna today.I've got a lady who looked at the cases and said oh , i'm all out........ Which would have been fine but I had planned on having that for my lunch and I went thirty minutes out of my way to stop at the store because it's said it had it in stock online.
Love the front end staff they are top notch.Don't think I'm going back, though, not until they figure out how much they want to charge for the poke ahi tuna. I can get a pound dressed for $14.99. But last night for the first time, I bought the kit of the unprepared pound and the dressing and was charged $18.39 any other time, I've purchased the kit for $14.99. So basically, I paid $4.00 for .225 of sesame seeds and oil(that comes with the tuna) @ 14.99 per lb...
Read moreUnimpressed! Brand new store and half of the codes don't even work on the self checkout machine. Tried to buy gummy worms, red Licorice, and cinnamon bears in bulk. The first two items plu codes wouldn't register when I punched them in, and the third was only available pre-packaged at this location, but I can get it in bulk at Speedway and Swan store. Also, some of these items might benefit from the use of tongs rather than scoops because they stick together so badly! I will be taking the long bus ride back to my old store, as having to wait on a cashier to scan a bypass card and enter the code of every item is not my idea of convenience through self checkout. However no regular registers were open at the time of my business. I almost considered a bag and dash but a cop was parked outside...
