Straight Edge Barbershop — Attraction in Tucson

Been coming here for over a year. Seen a few different barbers and generally they are great. When Covid hit, they took adequate precautions in the beginning to ensure that the staff and customers were safe. I guess they no longer believe they need to. During my last trip, there was a barber with large group of friends or family (at least 7) including teens with no masks on in the shop. One of the friends was openly vaping in the shop and coughing occasionally. There was no distancing at all and they frequently walked around the shop, again without distancing from customers or washing their hands. Another gentleman came in at some point openly carrying a 6 pack and an open bottle of beer and walked in with no mask, saying hi and eventually joining the group. In addition, the female barber who was workint was not wearing her mask properly (below her nose). If this was not a pandemic, none of this would be a concern at all. But with the spikes in cases and with our goal to be safe, this was a terrible, irresponsible, and unprofessional decision. This makes me strongly consider finding a new spot until after the pandemic...

I've come to this barbershop a few times. The first time they did a great job but they lied about the pricing. Then the second time I went to a different barber and he did good so I came back to him and tried to get the same cut but he did half asked but I still paid them $50. Haircut all over my neck. I asked for a mid fade with a 1 and got no fade and beard as shown in photos not clean at all. I asked him about the fade and he was confused and said he could of fixed it but he had another client. Every person should be taken care of and as much time as it takes to get it right. I'm not a barber but some barbers in there definitely better than others. I hate a barber that's in a rush and not focused on me. I tip well when taken care of and this time was just rushed and not clean im debating on looking elsewhere or going to yet another barber here. I choose this barber shop for two reasons. First of all recent customers have posted good reviews and are returning customers and secondly they're walking distance from my work which makes it very convenient to get a cut on my lunch hr. When I called them for the first time they answered the phone quickly and courteous. He was very professional. I explained to him this was my first time calling and wanted to set up an appointment. Owen was the young man who gave me the pricing details and made it very easy to set up the appointment. When I showed up he was friendly and introduced himself. I got a great cut and it was within the time frame he said he could have it done. The atmosphere was pleasant and all the employees are dressed professionally.
