CONSISTENTLY PANHANDLED
REPEATEDLY PANHANDLED*
*AGGRESSIVELY PANHANDLED
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING*
Jan25: I've usually enjoy myself dining here. I'm spoiled on good food and good service, unfortunately that was not the case during my recent visit. The recent visit with friends quickly turned into an embarrassment for picking a undeniable subpar venue.
I've personally spoken with the on duty manager numerous times prior in reference to on-site panhandlers and each time l feel my concerns over this issue have been rebuffed and dismissed and never taken seriously or properly addressed resulting in any significant or noticable improvement. On this visit even my guest expressed concern for their safety as we left and were aggressively approached for handouts while attempting to leave in the dimly lit parking lot. While we take our personal safety seriously, it's becoming crystal clear that the management team doesn't. And while the ineffective management miserably fails on this issue, I can effectively address it by simply not returning and subjecting myself and my guest to this potentially unsafe, awkward and uncomfortable questionable environment.
Our waiter barely had time to take our order. Apparently understaffing is the norm here. The level of service we received suffered significantly as a result. Maintaining drink refills proved slow and extremely problematic often resulting in empty beverage glasses for extended periods. Two of the plates arrived that contained lobster with drawn butter , unfortunately when they arrived from the kitchen they barely contained any butter. The bowls were almost empty of butter. The kitchen staff, the kitchen manager and even the server all should have noticed and addressed this obvious deficiency prior to table presentation but aptly failed to notice or intervene. Apparently the night we visited, failed guest relations was a group team effort at LongHorn.
The tableside light was in obvious need of repair and proved rather obnoxious to those seated next to it. One can only wonder how long it has been broken and left unaddressed?Sometimes the little things ruin the big things and no matter how hard you pretend to be professional it just gets lost.
It's the managers job to oversee everything and be in control of all aspects and l just don't sense anyone effectively leading this train wreck.
What a professional embarrassment! I can't envision returning here anytime soon, nor would l currently recommend this establishment. Eating is a necessary requirement of life, eating out however is a luxury. I truly felt our dinner party wasn't valued by the staff of this establishment. My money spends anywhere and unfortunately all the window dressing and lipstick on this pig can't hide that it's still a subpar disappointment. I wasn't expecting absolute perfection, but I would liked to have seen their best effort and that obviously wasn't on the menu.

Please do not embrace failure and dismiss my concerns by auto directing me to a remote third party vender call center to portray pretending to address my concerns. My review is precise, straightforward and to the point, please instead raise to the challenge and just address the...
Read moreWe went to Longhorn for a friend's birthday dinner. She chose it. She took forever to make her decision, but we were glad she picked Longhorn.
The table at which we were seated was roomy and comfortable. The complimentary bread was crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside (perfect) - I'd like to suggest that customers be given a butter knife instead of having to use the large, Rambo-like steak knife to butter the small slices of bread (though, they're perfect for cutting the steaks).
We (I) had the fire-grilled T-bone steak done medium, and it was so tender and juicy and literally finger-lickin' good! I took half of it home so I could use my hands to gnaw on the bone to get every yummy piece without embarrassing my friends. The birthday girl had the chicken tenders (she is an adult, but she's a child at heart), which she and her toddler ate with conviction and pleasure. Our other friend had the New York Strip, which she said was tender and yummy as well. The birthday girl's pre-teen had the child's sirloin steak, and she ate it with enthusiasm. The steaks came with a side each and salads.
Now, for dessert, the birthday girl had a coupon for a free one, plus the restaurant gave her a birthday sundae. We chose to have the Chocolate Stampede dessert to share. Good Lord, that thing was huge! Chocolate cake with a chocolatey, custard/mousse-like topping and two scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream made a perfect ending to this awesome meal. We couldn't finish the cake even though there were four of us attempting the task.
Our server, Hayley/Hailey/Haylee, was AMAZING! She had an energy that was infectious. It was genuine, like she enjoyed her job. She was super attentive, multitask oriented, and so personable. She was the tall blonde/light brown haired Hayley (there are or were multiple Hayleys working there, we were told). Give her a raise!!!
Everything we had was reasonably priced. We will be back! Thanks for a great celebration...
Read moreLet's start with the positive. LongHorns is my favorite place to eat, and without a doubt has the best steaks. My self, my husband, my daughter, 2 of my friends and their child came to LongHorns to celebrate her birthday, this was her first experience here. The food as always was amazing!!!!!!!! The steaks are both seasoned well and are cooked to perfection, tender and juicy no matter how you like them cooked. If you can try their signature sides they are worth the price. My problem with this visit was the service. We arrived at the restaurant at 3pm, we left the restaurant at 5pm. The server was quick to get our drink order, 10 minutes later we received our drinks, she left without getting our dinner order. 10 minutes later we receive our complimentary bread. 10 minutes later she gets our dinner order. 5 of us received salads with our meals, one of which was a Ceasars and they forgot the dressing. I made the server aware of the mistake quickly(as soon as the salad was placed on the table). 15 minutes later the dressing showed up. Now there was 6 of us so the cook time on 3 streaks, 1 salmon, 2 chicken strip dinnerswas average(20 -25 min). However, the T-bone that was ordered was not delivered, instead a New York strip was brought to the table. The server, who did not bring our food to the table, came and informed us that we ordered the new york strip, which we had not andwe responeded she must have missed heard. Alex the manager came to the table shortly after, he was very friendly, apologetic, and made things right. The T-bone dinner was comped, although we would have payed for it. We finished our meals and waited another 15 minutes for the check. Then another 15 minutes for her to return with our debit cards and receipts. This is the first time we have ever had any problems here, again we frequent this restaurant because the cuisine is always magnificent. I hope this was just an off day. I recommend everyone to experience their exceptional food, I just hope the...
