I went there at 8:45 tonight and was given the wrong smoothie, for the second day in a row. I turned around to get it remade and the lights were off and door was locked. It took maybe 3 minutes for me to turn around and was not even yet 9:00. When I called the kid that answered the phone told me they would not remake the smoothie they made wrong 5 minutes ago because everything was clean and put away. I would have to come back the next day. Completely unacceptable since they made the mistake AND closed early. Does this place even have management?
Edit Decided, wrongly to go back last night. As I walked in the door several crew members rudely screamed at me to get out. They were closed. I said no your not and the door was unlocked. Kept yelling at me to get out. Told me to go through the drive through. I said no. Your just going to tell me your closed. Kid promised me 3x if I just went through the drive through he would make my smoothie. I said please, as my husband is dying of cancer and cannot have anything but liquid and was craving a very specific smoothie from y'all. I finally run out to my car and go through the drive through. As I pull up to the box all I hear is " Sorry! We're closed! ". I said your promised me you would serve me and I told you you were going to do this and you promised 3x you would make my smoothie . Ignores me so I pull up to the window and I say please, please just make the smoothie, its for a dying cancer patient. Tells me he has the right to refuse service to anyone. Closes the window and proceeds to continue cleaning. I keep knocking and finally someone come to the window and screams at me to go down the road to tropical smoothie. So I did. And received great customer service, friendly attitude and a very well made smoothie for even cheaper. I will never set foot in another smoothie king in my life. Read moreI am a frequent Smoothie King customer. Between this location and the River road location, several times a week. Sometimes twice a day (like today). The inconsistency at this location is honestly frustrating at this point. Sometimes the smoothies taste extremely watered down and the viscosity is not consistent. I believe they often use too much ice. Several times I’ve even not finished my smoothie because of this issue. Over the last week they have been out of pup cups. Which they are often out of. I’ve had the same girl refuse to give me pup cups even in another container and me begging to pay for it any way they will let me. I even asked if I could order a plain vanilla smoothie in a small cup instead to share between my dogs and it was still a hard no. I understand this may not be something super important or a hill to die on but it’s very disappointing. My dogs really enjoy pup cups from Smoothie King and especially today after going to the vet I wanted to treat them. There is one guy that works there that is always a pleasure to see but any one else is a toss up and potentially not very friendly. Don’t pay too close attention to their advertising because it is often outdated. The lemonade smoothies have been removed from the menu for quite a while now. I’ve also had my card charged several times at once. I waited to see if the charges were just pending but they all went through. Read more3 bad visits in two weeks. in all visits over the two weeks I have been told that I cannot pay with my preloaded app balance because the scanner is down. Each time they said it would be one day until fixed. Today I was first and only in drive through line. Asked to wait, took almost 7 min. Then they took my order, it was a 40 ounce angel food. Then I get to the window, wait 10 min for someone to talk to me. Gentleman comes to the window and asks me what my order is when setting down a 40 ounce drink on the counter next to takeout window. I said, 40 ounce angel food, immediately closed window and went to make a 20 ounce angel food. Came back, told me I could not pay with my app and what the total was. Paid in cash, again, then received what I can only assume is a slim 20 oz angel food since it doesn't taste like anything. Immediately the window was closed. Couldn't get anyones attention and I had paid for a 20 oz angel food per the receipt. Decided to accept my fate that this location could not make me happy and left. Twice at this location a employee had told me it isn't their fault and not apologized for a scanner not working and now I cant even get an employee to listen to me correct them on messing up my order that I ordered.
