As others have reported Dishonest pricing, 43.79 for 1 race for the kiddo vs 28.95 online. If you read the fine print they upcharge you for annual membership. But really that's not why I am posting here: Our kiddo being a first timer was paired with a group of other kids who seemed like Regulars so she only managed 3? of 12 laps before they kicked all the kids off. I would not recommend this place because they don't give kids the chance to even finish a race before being kicked off. A waste of money. Daughter left disappointed.
Update: Kiddo asked to do it again on a whim 2 months later ($35 today). We Headed in at opening hoping for different experience. We were told a 90min wait time if we prepaid with a possibility of 30min if we were lucky / another party was late. She was able to get in a ride at 10:50am. Did she have fun? Yes, she was excited that she was able to complete 12 laps instead of the 3 previously and gained some confidence. She did comment that because she was the only person on the track no staff members were using the flags to indicate she could go faster / finish the race. I also noticed this. My observation: Staff members where chatting among themselves / peaking at the screen to see her laps - while prepping a party. Safety wise they were...
Read moreWe drove all the way from Olympia with the kids to have some fun.Looking closely at the race we noticed that they were messing with the speed. It was so obvious that I had to go and ask the guy that holds the tablet and controls everything!Well ,he was slowing my son without a reason and start blaming that someone needed to pass and thats why he slowed him down but he was almost one lap ahead and only 4 racers. The last 2 laps he started to slow him down until the other kid did a better time.My son told me that the last 2-3 laps he had no power in his kart.Well where is the fairness?the race? Its a coroussel ride or kart racing? Went to the front office and asked to talk to a manager and a kid showed up but I requested the manager and one employee said that the manager is not gonna help me and started to talk to me like Im nothing. It was a black girl that clearly had racist issues and frustration towards white people. She talked so rude and mean to us and the way she gestured was uncomfortable! We just wanted to talk to the manager!Eventually Josh or John, the manager came and apologized and we told him that we dont want nothing ,no free rides, nothing, but its not ok what those employees are doing and the way they talk to people. We left very dissapointed. Never gonna...
Read moreThis place is a lot of fun, especially if you are competitive. One thing you have e to remember, 1st place is not the person crossing the line first (at least with the races we did), it's the person with the best lap time. The track is very well put together, all the carts give the same advantages/disadvantages and are the perfect speed for the track. The day we went, we just walked in, signed waivers, paid and waited for our race. There were two races ahead of our first race, which gave us time to play in the on-site arcade. Once our first race was over, there were two races before our next one (20min~), which for me was perfect because I was very worn out by the end of the first race. The only complaint was with the second race. We were all pumped up to beat our previous race times and then somebody put the wrong names with the wrong carts. Luckily, we had somebody on the side that took a picture of the race screen and then crossed our actual cart number with the people in the carts. We had a party of 7, and not one of us walked away upset. All in...
