Very misleading and price gouge. I paid for my mother to get her phone fixed. Called to verify the price and then sent my mom up there with her phone and Jennifer, the owners wife, then raised the price almost $50. She said well that’s what I told you on the phone but I had your mom agree to a different price so that’s what she will pay. Even tho we could have just sent the phone to apple and paid $89 tax and all for the same issue. I figured paying $99 to have it done locally would be faster and worth the extra $10. The gentleman I spoke with first when inquiring why it was going to be almost $150 instead of what I was quoted told me ‘well I have to get paid and the store has to get paid.’ Also, Jennifer, the owners wife, said she couldn’t do anything because the price is set by apple and when I told her apples price for the replacements and countered with the amount the kit cost through apple she said ‘look I don’t argue. I mean this with respect but you are not my customer. Your mom is and she agreed to the higher price. It’s not getting discounted.’ This is a bait and switch tactic, they border on deceptive trade practices, and actually goes against Mississippi’s UCC laws. Be very careful when dealing with them. They are not honest, they will take advantage of the elderly or naïve. Yes, they will fix the phone fast but they lack...
Read moreI have taken several phones- Samsung s5, 4 iPhone 5's and 1 iPhone 6, and have had excellent customer service and great repairs. 1 of the phones had an irreparable issue with the circuit board. They installed 3 different screens to double check, couldn't fix it, no charge. All work for me has been done the same day with friendly, competent service and fair pricing.
Someone stated a part was only $5 and they shouldn't have charged $50 to repair it. Here's the deal: this company only uses genuine Apple, Samaung, etc. parts. The parts you find on Amazon most of the time are aftermarket. Furthermore, they have to pay for the part and their employees' salaries. Their prices are more than fair and their work excellent. If you think $50 was too much and it's only a $5 part, break out the toolkit and knock it out. They never have charged me a "crack" fee to open the device and tell me what was wrong. Not many places will do that.
Repairing delicate electrical devices isn't easy or cheap, and they don't gouge. I don't like paying to fix my phone every time I break the dang thing, but I broke it so I can't gripe about it.
Best electronics repair service I've ever dealt...
