Check-in was very simple. I had prepaid for my room ahead of time. The lady asked for my credit card and ID and I refused to give her the credit card because I had already paid and did not want to be charged. She was very nice about it and said she just needed identification purposes and I gave her my driver's license and she accepted that fine. She was very nice and pleasant and easy to deal with. I asked for extra towels and with no questions they gave it to me. The door to our room which was upstairs on second floor was very hard to open and close. It would close but just needed a hard push. The room looked clean and had a calm atmosphere about it. The refrigerator was okay clean. The sink was clean. The bathroom on the other hand was not. I was a little surprised when I inspected the tub to find a few hairs around the tub and the commode had pee on the back of it when I shut the lid. I brought my own disinfectant cleaner and just cleaned it and dealt with it. There was a coffee maker and it was clean. The shower was nice and warm and overall just nice. The towels were fluffy and clean. There were soaps and shampoo and conditioner for us. There was a microwave in the room as well with a hair dryer installed on the wall. The water pressure in the shower and the sink was fine. Carpet seemed to be clean as well. Beds were full size. There were three pillows that were fluffy. Bed was comfortable. Every now and then you could hear a door slam because I'm guessing they had the same problem we did. There were a few people wondering around in the parking lot but nothing too scary. Overall the experience was nice and okay. There was a drink machine on the second floor as well as an ice machine outside in a room to itself. I have to say the room smelled of pee. When we left there was a homeless guy hanging out beside the drink machine that told us to get out of his house. Nothing scary though. He was harmless. Check out was very simple and easy and they handed us a to-go bag for breakfast. There was an orange, yogurt, honey bun, oatmeal bars, and a small water in the bag. I have to say that I was surprised that all of that was in the bag. Very nice people at the checkout. Would I stay there again? Yeah I probably would. I am a very picky person when it comes to my room. I want it to be super clean, especially in the bathroom. So out of five stars I will give it three. I tried to be as honest as I can about what I see and the situation and the atmosphere. So I will post pictures accordingly. Last but not least the price was okay for the weekend. I would have like to pay less for what I got. That's not a bad thing that's just my opinion. My price for one night on Friday night was $111 and some change. That was total price taxes and everything. I probably wouldn't have paid more than $50 to $60 for the nightstay. But that's my opinion. I will probably visit this hotel again.

We arrived mid-afternoon after a 4 hour drive in torrential rain from Douglasville. On arrival we found check-in to be easy and Tammy was friendly enough too. Whilst the room could do with a brighter paint job and curtains and some furnishings were tired and marked in places; the bed was very comfortable and clean along with the bathroom and facilities, which was more than good enough for our 2 night stay. There were plenty of sockets and lights, hot water and good a/c! We love motel rooms as I like to have the door open to outdoors sometimes. The weather the next day was still heavy rain and on heading into the breakfast room we were greeted by Prashant, who was welcoming and said that if there was anything else we needed later in the day, including room service, to let him know. The Breakfast Room was small and choices were limited to tea, coffee, juice, cereals, toast, yoghurt, fruit and pastry options. This was more than enough to satisfy us on a morning and the intimacy of the room enabled pleasant conversations with some other guests heading home for Huntsville and on the 2nd morning, some folk from Kansas going across to Georgia. I would suggest you confirm the time for check-out as it says 1100 on Booking.com but we were called on the internal phone and asked if we were heading out yet… this was at 1000. We were ready to leave but honestly thought we had until 1100. So, overall we enjoyed our stay here, it was great value and if you're looking for no frills but comfortable and clean with friendly staff then look no further. We would stay again if in the area😁

I arrived after having made a reservation two days earlier. I stay primarily at Best Western and have attained the Diamond Select rating due to my loyalty. I was told I had the last room available. I arrived and opened the door to the room and the sheets and comforter were off the bed and a pair of old socks was lying on the floor at the end of the bed. The bathroom had one towel and one washcloth and no bags in the trash cans or bag for the ice bucket. It was as if someone started but didn't complete the room cleaning and the front desk had no clue. It was so late and I was so tired that and knowing it was the last room. I just made up the bed myself. This was beyond ridiculous and the worst experience I have had in years as a Best Western guest. I am very interested to see if anyone will respond and what possible explanation will be given and if any resolution or compensation for this "visit" will be offered.

My name is Yahim and i experienced one of the worst experiences in my entire hotel history at this hotel...i arrived there to check in at around 8am ...to discover that their credit card reader was down .. at that point the staff asked if i could pay with cash which i did not have...however they allowed me to check in and i was to come to the front desk later when the card machine was back working. .all my info was taken and i was even given a reciept.... upon getting situated in my room #218 , i begin to get some much needed sleep...at about 11am up 4 hours later i get a call from hotel management... apoligizing for a mishap that the machines were still down but that they would have to have cash immediately...i marched up to the front desk demanding an explanation...which none seemed viable.. i then contacted my fiance whom is a cardiologist at a local hospital ..she gasped in utter disbelief.. due to many hotels were booked up due to some flea market in town.....the manager whom is some large intimidating black woman treated this situation in a totally ridiculous manner... and seemed to be concerned with getting a higher rate due to flea market attendees....i am just relocating to Mississippi, to set up business here but i would never recommend THE SURESTAY HOTEL BY BEST WESTERN ON : 852 NORTH GLOSTER TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS. ..STAY THE HELL AWAY ... THE RESPECT AND SERVICE OF MANAGEMENT PERSONELL WAS THE "WORST" I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED...THIS WAS FEBRUARY 7TH 2020....AND NOT TO MENTION AFTER I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT CLOTHING IN HASTE TO GET OUT ..THOSE ITEMS ENDED UP MISSING....I WILL GO ON A CAMPAIGN TO INFORM ALL OF MY 17,000 on social media about this and ask them to inform...
