We booked our room in the late morning, as my family and I were traveling all day. Once we arrived I parked under the awning and went to check in. While there was a guest less than 10’ away from the door on a bench smoking a joint (marijuana cigarette). After checking in I found there was no parking close to the door. It was 11pm and I had a 4yo, 19month and a 8 week old baby to unload. While unloading them a staff member pulled up behind be and was very irritated that she could not get through. Showing her irritation with smug looks and hand gestures. Once we got into the room my 4yo had to use the restroom and found there was no toilet paper, no Kleenex, no hand soap and no towels. We could not even shower at this point. We also found the bathroom was very dirty and all the floors were nasty and sticky. I went to the front desk and asked for some basic toiletries and towels, I was handed a roll of toilet paper and Kleenex, the front desk member then brought me 1 set of towels. Still no soap and not able to shower. The next morning after sleeping in filth I went to get ice, the ice bucket liner fell out and I noticed it was moldy, had food stuck to it and stunk. So I did not get ice, I was packing the family out and searched for a soiled garment bag and found non, figured I would use a trash liner. But guess what the trash cans where dirty on the inside, looked like old grease on the bottom. I went to the front desk and requested one. The lady at the desk asked a gentleman that was slouched in a chair playing with his facial hair if there was any liners. He was irritated that he had to pause his phone call and told her they be somewhere. She searched and found me one.
I do not know who will see this or even take the time to actually care about how poor this establishment is being ran. I stay at numerous choice facilities throughout the nation and this on is by far the worse! I will be sending this exact response to corporate to let someone know.
I was treated like a bum coming in off the street begging for an handout and not a valued guest that has spent a lot of time in...
Read moreChecked in late after a long day on the road pulling a trailer in the rain. Couldn't find anywhere to part with the 5x8 trailer and had to park it on the grass around back under what seemed like a strobe light from an airport runway. Front desk lady was nice and polite and helpful. That was the best part of the stay. We got to the room and it was dark but could see that the beds were made. We turned on the light and saw some stuff under the edge of the furniture and said I guess they missed a little while cleaning. The bathroom was the next stop and it had fresh towels and all appeared wiped down. Although old with moldy caulk in the corners of the shower it was passable for one late night to rest. We turned on other lights and began to see that the floor not only hadn't been vacuumed but also hadn't even been picked up. There were sport drink bottle tops, paper and other assorted materials in many places around the room. Went to the front desk and mentioned it and showed pictures. They checked but didn't have a room to move us to. One of the ladies mumbled something about not doing full cleanings on "stayovers". I heard the word and brought up that we had just checked in and this was not a stayover. She seemed surprised. I don't even remember if much else was said. We were to tired to fight it after 12 hours of pulling a trailer in the rain. We just hoped the sheets were clean and not just made up. There was no one at the front desk when we checked out in the morning and we did not eat any breakfast. We didn't have much appetite after the room experience. We left and never plan on...
