Kohl's — Attraction in Turlock

Kohls has officially settled into the stereotype of an unfeeling, big-box department store. Employees only seem to be responsible for running the cash registers. The store looks like a hurricane hit it with clothing and other items strewn all over the place. While I could find a general type of clothing the mess was so bad that I wasn't sure what item belonged on what rack. It would be nice if they would put up some scanners that would tell you what the prices are. Call me blind but I didn't see any in my short trip. It was all so confusing when it came to using coupons. I've always been told that Kohls is a good deal, however, after speaking with the employee at the register, I wasn't sure whether I needed a coupon, or to download the Kohl's app, or to use both... This is the type of store and experience that makes me wish it was easier to buy...

I am so tired of Kohl's. I only shop there because we live in a smallish town with few options: Walmart, Target, or Kohl's. I don't like the discounts where you have to buy one to get 50% off the other. Why not just give a 25% discount.

My wife wanted a table runner, but we'd had to have bought 2 to get a break on the price. WE ONLY HAVE ONE TABLE!!! Why would we want two runners?

Another thing I don't like are high prices combined with discounts of 15, 20, or 30 percent. My wife wanted a grment steamer, but with even with the 30% off is was $2 more expensive than at Walmart.

I tell you I'm DONE with Kohl's. After I pay this month's bill I gonna close the Kohl's credit...

Be warned that if you don't have your physical card with you (they kindly offer just using your ID to shop) that they will require you have a driver's license. A STATE issued identification card will not be accepted. There are so many people that don't drive and get State issued ID cards and Kohl's will not accept it. They actually lazily write that you may shop with your ID! They don't mention it must be a Driver's License. Such a disappointment. The Turlock store staff is friendly, the store is clean and easy to shop in. It was the "higher up" person she had to call on the phone who said they only accept Driver's License for...
