I very rarely if ever take the time of day to write reviews but this experience was life changing like actually. I had the plate with a ground beef kabob and that delicious schwarma meat. Let me tell you something. eating that schwarma meat is so dang good itll make you have a flashback to your childhood like that scene with the reviewer from ratatouille. like fr it was THAT GOOD.
On top of that you have a delicious ground beef kabob that was roasted over the grill so perfectly. on top of that you get a lot of delicious filler buttered rice that just compliments the whole dish perfectly and you get a huge portion. AND if that wasnt already enough, you get a nice wholesome salad all in one huge plate. Itll fill even the hungriest customers and feel like such a complete meal that youll find yourself like me cleaning the whole plate! everything has its place!
I reserved my review because i wanted to give nami-no; their competitor a try and ill be honest. its awesome too. BUT the meal wasnt as complete as the one youll get here at gyros and more. and the pricing is a couple bucks less for these huge plates thats practically the same over there but no salad. you get roasted chili peppers and a whole tomato which is okay but should be like here and default with that salad.
Nami-no is a 4.9 but gyros and more gets that little extra step ahead sitting at a SOLID 5 all day! From getting a complete meal, getting a chance to try that LIFE CHANGING SCHWARMA, or that price thats a little more on the reasonable side of things. These are the things that makes gyros and more THE GO - TO spot for some GREAT FOOD....
Read moreHubby and I haven’t been back here for quite some time and decided to come here for lunch today and found out there were new owners. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here any time soon. 1) they changed the drinking cups (plastic and smaller size), 2) no tea, 3) price increased 4) no greek salad but prepackaged regular salad, 6) they used saffron rice as a topping or garnish on top of the regular basmati rice and 6) they serve the food in tin trays like bbq restaurants. Seriously?? It kept reminding me of being back in high school, eating from a tray. I gave this place 2 stars because their gyro meat still tasted good but that’s it. Hubby was disappointed due to the lack of greeting when we entered or when we left. It’s missing that welcoming feeling we’re used to from the previous owner. I guess it’s time for us to look elsewhere for a regular for our mediterranean food cravings.

Read moreThe meat is delicious, the owners are so friendly and warm. They make you feel like family. The portions are hefty and the price ... Not overly exorbitant. The interior could use some work but that's not why there are four stars instead of five. The one and only reason is that the tzatziki is lacking in flavor. This is surprising as I believe the owners ARE Greek. If you are Greek you'll what I am talking about when you taste it. It lacks that fresh cucumbery,(is that a word.. Lol), taste that traditional tzatziki has. Oops just one other thing... The onions are very mild. I'm use to the strong onion and garlic flavors that Greek food is known for. It makes me wonder if they dumded it down for the mainstream American tastebuds. Personally, I'm partial to authentic Greek flavors. Sorry for the novel, just go, but bring your own...
