I took my mother to Q Nails to get her nails done. When we tried to walk into the mall there was a bunch of kids playing at the doors by the salon and for my disabled mother it was difficult to get through as the kids would rather yell at their friends telling them that they live there instead of moving out of the way. Later I found out that the kids belonged to the people who worked at Q Nails. We were told that it would be about an hour wait and we sat there watching theses kids run around the salon and even at 1 point, 1 of the kids took their shoes off and started throwing them around the salon. This got one of the parents yelling at the kids in Korean or Chinese? This stopped the hi-jinks for a short while. Then the younger child got a large empty energy drink can and he paraded around the salon holding the can upside down spilling what ever was left in the can all over the floor. This type of fun continued for about another 1/2 hour until I left my mother there to get her nails done and I went to Xochimilco's bar to get some special juice to deal with unruly children. I can back a little over an hour later (now there about 1 1/2 hours) and my mother had just sat down to get her nails done. The children were still running around like a bunch of banishes. As I waited for my mother, I over herd one of the ladies tell customers that it would be an hour wait. Some left, some stayed. Mean while, the children are still running around the salon to the point that ALL of the salon people took the children into the back and was gone about 2-3 minutes. When they returned, the children's behavior improved for a few minutes and then returned back to the way it was prior to going to the back room.
It is my belief that a daycare would not only be better for the children and customers, but they would not have to keep yelling at the children or stop work all together for a few minutes. My mother had to wait over 1/2 hour before she could get a shamrock painted on her nail.
Q Nails may be a good place to get your nails done, however they need to control their children. The mall should not allow children to play in the entries/exits. Is this a...
Read moreKOHLS IS TERRIBLE. I WAS ILL DURING THE HOLIDAYS BECAUSE I AM A DISABLED VETERAN, AND I WAS UNABLE TO GET THE GIFT I WANTED FOR MY WIFE. IT WAS A 4.5 QUART KITCHEN AID, THAT WAS ON SALE DURING THE HOLIDAYS UP TO DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY. BUT THERE ARE MANY OTHER RETAIL STORES THAT THE MANAGER DID NOT RECOGNIZE AS RETAIL STORES, SUCH AS WALMART, BEST BUY AND TARGET. PLUS I ALSO HAD $90 IN KOHLS CASH THAT HAD TO BE USED TODAY, OR THEY EXPIRE. SO THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULDN'T LOWER THE PRICE AT ALL, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THERE LAST ONE. WHEN MY WIFE HANDED THEM THE $70 IN CERTIFICATES OF KOHLS CASH, SHE TOLD HER THE OTHER 20 WERE ON MY CARD. BUT THEY WOULDN'T LET HER USE IT. THE ONLY REASON I WASN'T THERE AT THE MOMENT WAS I WAS TRYING TO HUNT DOWN A PRINTED COPY OF THE SALE PRICE FROM A DIFFERENT RETAILER BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY WAY I WAS GETTING IT. IN THE LONG RUN I GOT WHAT I WANTED FOR THE WOMAN I LOVE AND THATS ALL I CARE ABOUT, BUT KOHL'S IS IN MY MIND ONE OF THE WORST DEPARTMENT STORES AROUND. OUT FOR THEMSELVES AND SCREW THE CUSTOMER. THEY RAISE THERE PRICES EXTREMELY HIGH AND THEN MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR GETTING SOME MAJOR DEAL. BUT YOUR NOT, THINGS LIKE KOHLS CASH HAVE RESTRICTIONS THAT ONLY ALLOW SPENDING THEM DURING A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THERE ARE REALLY NO INCENTIVES IF YOU PUT EVERYTHING OUT ON THE TABLE, IT ALL PUTS THEM AHEAD IN THE END. I INTEND ON PAYING OFF THIS ACCOUNT AND CLOSING IT DOWN. IT'S JUST NOT WORTH IT. THE MANAGERS WERE NOT VERY FRIENDLY AT ALL ACCEPT ONE YOUNG MAN AT THE END THAT EXPLAINED SOME THINGS TO MY WIFE. THE CASHIER THAT I HAD, BUT ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER I SPOKE WITH WAS RUDE, AND COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE EMPATHETIC TOWARDS MY SITUATION EVEN IF I DIDN'T GET THE DEAL. VERY RESPECTFULLY, LOUIS A BERRY, MASTERCHIEF, U.S. NAVY,...
Read moreIt kind of depends on what store you go in is the type of service you will get. When I go to this mall I usually shop at the major department stores like Kohl's, Macy's, jc Penny's, etc. My favorite store in the complex is Burlington's. They have super cute and modern clothes you can't find any where else and the prices are super reasonable. Their clearance prices are shocking for what you can get for the price. The lines can get a bit long at times but their employees usually will apologize for that with a smile and are very courteous and help you with any questions you have. They will even get someone to help you carry out your bags if you can't carry it all out yourself. If you have a question the floor staff will help you until you find the answer or help you with what your looking for. I shop here very frequently and is the first spot I go to look for something I need or a gift for some one else. The only store I've had issues with in this complex is the Ulta beauty store. I had asked one of the assistant managers a question there and was treated poorly and being watched like I was going to steal something. She was very rude and very unwelcoming so I left and haven't shopped there since. Their make up is very expensive and so are alot of the other products they sell. So if I need make up or some other beauty product I go some where that treats me well and is...
