I use to shop at this location often when I lived in Rancho Cucamonga. That was many years ago. I still shop every now and then to pick up supplies or specialty items a particular job requires.
We had a commercial job that required a specific paint. I sent a worker to the paint dept for that specific paint. She was not greeted, received very little help and was treated rather rudely.
I went down a few minutes later and one of the Home Depot workers in question, saw me with the our employee and decided to be a tad more pleasant and steered her in the general direction of one of the other items we needed.
In general, the employees here are not very pleasant or helpful. The cashiers are also often not very pleasant and outright rude. This location definitely needs classes in professionalism, and just general courtesy.
I do not recommend shopping at this Home Depot due to the overall behavior of many of the employees. Sometimes you have no choice but to ask for help. When its countered with rude behavior or general lack of enthusiasm, it makes for an exhausting customer experience.
In looking at other reviews of this location, it has some of the lowest reviews of any any Home Depot I've personally visited. Rude unhelpful employees was a common complaint.
Since some of the employees seem to act as though they don't care about their jobs, or in being professional with the customers, I suggest we start collecting names, or videotaping those unpleasant encounters and send them to Home Dept Corporate.
My personal feeling is either change your behavior or find another line of work. I'm sure there are other people who would appreciate helping customers and being more helpful and professional.
If your not inclined to do that, and choose to avoid this locations all together, you can get much better service at Home Depot in North Upland off of 19th St. I've been there numerous times and get pretty good service overall.
As others have mentioned, the parking lot is super busy. Day laborers crowd the outer edges of the parking lot near the Shell gas station, and sometimes make for a challenging experience driving in the lot. Be careful when parking and navigating the area.
As I said before, the above issues have been been going on for decades and and has never been addressed.
In closing, hit up North Upland or Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill, or if you're going northwest check out Home Depot in Glendora off of Lone Hill and Gladstone.
Until there is some drastic improvement in customer service, this location only deserves only two stars.
I have several projects in the area and will visit the HD several times in the next few weeks. Ill report more on specific issues as...
Read moreThe business I went to, said on its website that they were open to give interviews for the TSA "pre check" on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm. When I got there today (24 miles drive both ways total), a Saturday, I was told they stopped interviewing on Saturdays, just 2 weeks ago.
They should have stopped Saturday TSA business after it was removed from their website, NOT before. So unprofessional.
I was also told that today I wasn't the only one coming from far FOR NOTHING. There were 7 other customers.
This place was open for their regular business. Mountain Insurance Co. or so. At least I got to talk to someone. I wouldn't have been happy at all, to...
Read moreI'm neutral on the customer service. The 'experienced employees' are mostly gone. They helped, they weren't afraid of being asked a question... the KIDS working are always standing around talking between each other, but when approached, they run faster than they've probably ever moved in their lives...I waited for customer service pick up and the little girl told me to go to the other side for help. As I'm walking away, she says to another employee.."I didn't want to help that one", both started whispering while someone else helped me... which you could clearly tell they really didn't want to help either... Very sad...
