Brave New Worlds — Attraction in Upper Moreland Township

Rude staff. I’ll never shop there again. I called last Wednesday and asked them to set two comics aside. They said ok and took my contact info. I offered to pay to secure my purchase, they said no worries that I could pay when I came for curbside pickup. They told me they’d hold it up to two weeks. Also they said if they found a first print (if someone failed to pick up their issue in the 2 week holding time) that they’d replace the 2nd print that was on hold for me. I was thankful he made a special note for me. I called today (on the fifth day) to add something to my purchase and was going in shortly to pick up. They sold my comic book, now it’s sold out. This person told me they don’t hold comic books, which is a lie. Also he brought up I hadn’t been to the store in two years like as an accusation; I moved back to the area recently so I don’t really appreciate that comment. Exceptionally rude on the phone, totally abrasive. I understand mistakes happen, but don’t blame me for the store’s mistake and lie about protocol. If he handled it nicely I would’ve let it go. I've been here a few times. This place is amazing! The staff is courteous and well informed! They were able to give me a recommendation for a modern "Vampire Story" called 'Killadelphia'. (Btw, I highly recommend this story, especially if you're from Philadelphia.)

By far, this store is my favorite Comic Shop, and I don't say this lightly! I've been to every shop within the area and enjoyed them. However, 'Brave New Worlds' is a cut above the rest.

They ordered a book to be transferred from the center city store. I called a few days later to confirm and it was in. I drive 40 minutes to get it and nope. Not there and the center city store doesn’t it either. An hour and a half wasted. Not a happy customer. I could have easily picked it up at another store.

Update: They saw my review and I just received a call from them telling me they could have the book tomorrow. Weird considering they looked at their computer system and they didn’t show it at the center city store nor was it coming in. I passed. Not gonna drive another hour and a half and another $10 in tolls to find out whoever called was wrong.
