I just finished writing a one-star review for the Edwards location and am so happy to find myself 'here' offering five stars to the Vail UPS.
While I was met with coldness, indifference and no help in Edwards, my problems were immediately solved with the customer service provided by Alayah at the Vail store.
I lost my job and had to return my computer equipment. My ex-employer provided 800 of us laid off a QR code to package and ship our gear at no cost. The Edwards store manager told me she was unable to do it. In just seconds of entering the Vail store, I was welcomed with a smile by Alayah. She packaged and shipped by gear using that same QR code in less than five minutes.

UPS HQ has a national contract with Nespresso to use it's locations as a pickup point. Nespresso recently sent an urgent order I placed to this store location. Unfortunately, the local franchise has a policy that it accepts only TEN such packages a day. When that number is exceeded, they simply refuse delivery and send the package back to the sender, with no warning or communication to the customer, which is what happened to my package. The staff on duty had a laminated page that explained this policy--but that really doesn't help when all you want is your package! I called UPS HQ. They seemed surprised and promised to take action. Read moreStore involved in drug trafficking and fake ID's. Store manager said the owner was find large amounts of money so they did have some level of guilt. They have other locations one is in Avon that I know of. Every legit business should stay away from them. I canceled my box immediately after speaking with the manager who now treats everyone like a criminal when in fact they are the criminals. Do you think the owner would have paid fines if he was not guilty on some level? The way I hear it is that he's lucky to be in business.
