Skinologie Studio Esthetics + Massage — Attraction in Valparaiso

I CAN NOT recommend Michelle any more than I have the last two years I’ve been a client of hers. LITERALLY. I tell coworkers, friends, other family members to run and get a service from her. I’ve watched Michelle’s progression from esthetician student and been a model(test subject) a few times, to a complete professional that has found her calling and passion! It’s hard for me to pick a favorite service because I usually get the works when I go to see her but I think I would have to pick her facial. I don’t know half of the things she does with the facial but I do know all of it is amazing. Not only is it a relaxing experience, you also leave with the most amazing glow. Michelle is so knowledgeable and can customize your service based on your skin needs.

Beyond the facial, I’ve had my lashes and brows lifted and tinted many times and I get complements EVERY SINGLE TIME! It’s so nice to have them looking flawless everyday without needing to do a thing.

I cannot say enough of Skinologie. Moved to the area almost 2 years ago and needed to find a new place for my spa needs. I sure am happy I called Skinologie! Scheduled a wax with Michelle and loved my experience. That day I scheduled a few other services! I've had several of the massages, mainly with Nicole, and absolutely love any I have gotten, especially the 2hr Signature Massage with added foot treatment. I have even treated my parents to a few massage services with her and they loved them as well. Michelle has been a total saint for my skin! I've had several custom facials, the clarifying Hydra Facial and more recently the Mermaid Facial with dermaplaning. I loved the dermaplaning and will be getting again. She has also given so many tips and tricks for my at home skin routine that I truly am learning to love my skin again! I have also had the pleasure of having Mikki for a massage, Tori for a facial, and Camille for a wax- all of whom were fantastic as well! I appreciate what all Skinologie has to offer! It’s a great environment and they make you feel right at home. My only critique having gone here a few times, is that I wish they’d help you develop more of a plan for your skin during facials. The first time I went, I truly wanted to learn more about my skin and get products to help but the girl doing it didn’t seem very confident in the questions I was asking. The next few times I went to Lauren (the owner) and she did a great job! I felt like she understood more what I was after but again, left me feeling like I wanted a “go to” person who could truly help me with a new skin care routine and be “in it” with me to help see results. It always felt scrambled at the end when I’d ask for products to help and what should we do at the next appointment to help with my skin concerns. Perhaps being new to the facial world I was wanting too much out of the experience. Could be just me but wanted to provide my feedback.
