Spirit Halloween — Attraction in Vancouver

The staff had there security guard follow me and my children around who are both under 10 years of age, my son is autistic and was running around looking at the attractions they had this year after asking me to go since they opened, me or my children didn’t do anything wrong for us to be discriminated against. I did call and reported the behavior to a complaint line. This security guard was tailing my daughter and made her want to leave cuz he made her feel really uncomfortable..

When I brought it up with staff all she said was oh he follows everyone, no he followed my children for over 30 minutes watching them like they were criminals I told her I’m sure he’s not supposed to follow children the whole time the store was crowded and he stalked my daughter like she was a shiny toy.

I will be ordering my kids Halloween costumes online from somewhere else from now on. Shame on you...

I was shopping for a halloween costume and they kicked my friend and I out of the store because someone said they saw me put something in my sweatshirt pocket. I’m wearing my company clothes and i have a purse that barely fits my phone and a jacket with 2 pockets. I offered to literally strip down everything i was wearing and my purse to prove that i absolutely did not steal anything and the security guard didn’t let me and told us we needed to leave. Usually if someone steals, they ask for the stolen goods back, they didn’t even ask for the “item” back, they just told us to leave. I would love to see the footage of me “stealing” because it literally did not happen. Don’t go here and shop normally with a jacket on i guess? I didn’t want to buy their cheap $30...

Straight up was just helping my friend pick out a costume as we see the security following us around which is whatever until he came up to my friend saying someone saw her put something in her jacket might I add she still had her work clothes on. Who is stupid enough to steal with work clothes on? When he came up to us we both literally had no clue what he was talking about even tried to prove it and he just kicked us out. Basically just saying he’s doing his job but even if we did steal, wouldn’t he want the said stolen item back? None of it makes sense since absolutely nothing was stolen and it was just a really dumb interaction as we couldn’t even continue shopping after proving...
