Sunbug — Local services in Venice

This is the only place I buy baiting suits, and my favorite place for dresses. Sandy is so amazing at picking out the perfect styles and size for my body. Before meeting Sandy I always hated shopping for a baiting suit- never liked how they looked on me and always felt bad about my body and myself after trying on suits. I go to Venice on vacation every year and for many years I walked out of Sunbug empty handed. Then 3 years ago I was in Sunbug and met Sandy. I was reluctant to let her pick out suits for me but finally surrendered thinking I had nothing to lose. Suit after suit I was shocked at how nice they looked on me and how good I felt wearing them. I had her pick out some dresses for me too. Since this first experience with Sandy was so great I went back the next year.. and this year too.. and was so grateful she was there each time. I bought a beautiful dress last year- their dresses are gorgeous and unique, and this year I bought 3 more gorgeous baiting suits that look great and I love to wear! Sandy knows how suits fit different body types and she is always honest... if she doesn’t think something looks great on you she will tell you. She isn’t there just to sell you something.. she is there to sell you something you look and feel great in. Sandy has changed my life when it comes to baiting suit season- I hope she never ever leaves the Sunbug!!! Do yourself a favor...

Tried one time to support this small business…purchased $98 sale silk pants, tried on at home, found one ripped cargo pocket and completely loose seams at waist. Returning damaged product within 14 days with my original receipt and tags still attached to store manager, this loud person (while still chewing her lunch on the sales floor), with a condescending tone accuses me of damaging this product (even after her store associate makes this comment“ I understand, these things happen, who knows how long and where these sit on a ship somewhere these days before getting to us”…)I was not offered any at all compensation, repair, or a full refund, when I asked for store manager’s info, was handed business card with name and store phone # only… unfortunately paid with debit...

My visit with my mother in law to SunBug was exceptional! From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with kindness. I later learned one of the associates was the owner. They were all helpful and informative but not pushy or over bearing. After a few failed attempts to find the right suit on my own, the owner found me a beautiful bathing suit. I was apprehensive about the cost, but a fellow customer urged me to take the leap, that her suits from there have lasted 10 plus years! They gave me specific care instructions to further the life of my new suit. I left feeling confident and excited to get into the pool when I got home....
