Hoping to give this place a chance after seeing some pretty awful reviews. First and foremost, The guys are nice and Very Professional (Verbally). However, They really empty you out with the cost of Labor. The experience I had with these guys started to fall. They Left my Vehicle with Wire Trimmings from installing my new Touchscreen Radio and They never asked me how I wanted my New Stereo to Be positioned in my car, which caused me to have to come back the next morning which I did. Unfortunately they said they only had 1 Guy working so the Wait for a Repositioning would take a few hours(Took me 2 minutes by myself with the help of Alpine) I spent almost $1300 with almost $400 for labor this shouldn't have been an Issue. Here comes more, So with having all these problems, the guys had to order a Part for my steering wheel controls which I had to come back for... Again. They did not give me a date or time to come back until I had asked the Third day. Got me down for the following Saturday.
05/23/20 Currently getting my Stereo Repositioned and Those steering wheel controls installed(which should've been done the first day). I tried talking to the mechanic and The guy working the desk intervened. This is very Unprofessional, the Man working on my car should get an idea of how I want my Product installed. Bottom line is, This Company does not care about you and your car. They only want to make money out of you and provide services to a Limited extent. I Paid almost $1300 dollars to come back and forth and to top it off I payed full amount on the first day and yet they still were careless to me and my needs as a customer.
One last thing, that Mechanic who installed the Steering wheel controls and Repositioned my car really Went out of his way to get me how I wanted my USB port to be positioned. He Truly deserves the 5 Stars. I just hope that labor cost went mostly to him. (wish I had his name).
Do your research and listen to reviews. Always compare prices with other Shops. You could be getting Low balled.
I recommend 1)Stereo 1 Off Oxnard Blvd. 2)Sound Doctor...

(Visit 1) What an unexpected pleasure!
First time customer here! I was referred for my broken stereo/CD player and was fully expecting to spend whatever it took to fix it/replace it. It's been "broken" for at least a decade and even my mechanic couldn't find any way to avoid replacement. He referred me to 805 Motoring.đ
Well wasn't that an amazing gift and a tremendous blessing!! I met Moses who was very welcoming and asked how he could help. Moses chose to diagnose the issue himself just to be sure I wasn't missing something. I literally tried to tell/convince him there was no point, it wasn't fixable. He chose to check it out himself, despite my professional đđopinion! Long story short-ish, he was able to fix it!!! At no cost to me. đ¤Ż
What! A! Great! Dude!!! What a kindness! He also addressed a couple other concerns I had and left me feeling so happy and grateful.
To say he's made a lifetime loyal customer would be an understatement. I look forward to working with him/805 for all of my future needs.
Rock on Moses, thanks 805 Motoring!! Tammy I.
(Visit 2) My second visit was due to a slow leak on my nearly new front tire. The "tire shop" where I had purchased the tires said it was a sidewall leak issue and required a new tire. I felt compelled to get a second opinion at 805 Motoring so I called Moses.
He said bring it right over, had his tire guy check it out and much to my surprise they brought it back out fairly quickly and said there was a nail in the tire. They removed said nail and patched the leak and fixed it right up already! It's been perfect ever since. I'm glad I followed my gut instinct not to trust those dudes that installed the new set less than a year ago. I'll buy my tires from 805 from now on.
Thanks Mo, Thanks...
Read moreSo I work at an auto repair shop that does a lot of business with Stereo Land. I figured I'd go to them to have a stereo installed in my wife's Jeep. We came on a Sunday afternoon on the outside chance they'd be able to squeeze us in. They said they couldn't but if we came back Tuesday at 9:30 they'd be able to get us right in. No big deal. Tuesday came and my wife dropped the Jeep off at 9:30, they told her it would be an hour and a half. She came back 2 hours later and the Jeep hadn't even been touched. After explaining her frustration to the workers and the manager they told her they'd move other appointments and it'd be another hour. Never once did the workers apologize for their slip up. My wife left after being told this. I called them later on in the day and asked what had happened. I was told that they were working on other cars from the night before, and that they were waiting on my wife's car. The worker I talked to said he'd have the manager call me back to work out a solution to the problem. It's been 3 days and I have yet to receive a phone call, nor at least an apology. I work at an auto repair shop so I understand sometimes cars get left over night and things change. I also understand no one wants to work on a $35 install when there are other jobs that would make them more money. It is down right unprofessional to promise a finish time, never touch the car in that time, nor even bother to call explaining it might take longer and also it is just plain rude to never even apologize for it. Like I stated, I know things change and things happen in a business like this, and calling the customer with an update is common courtesy. Common courtesy which we did not receive. Clearly Stereo Land does not want nor care about our business, therefore my wife and I will take our business elsewhere. It's a shame after all the work my repair shop has...
